iCast, do you Cast?

With continued effort to move our church into the 21st century, I have officially launched the Trinity Baptist Church Podcast! Nothing fancy, just the sermons that we already have available online, but now in subscription format on iTunes. Still working out a few minor bugs, and we'll get a logo up next week, but you can go ahead and check it out today.

Michel Camilo

We watched this video in class tonight.
If you like Latin music at all, you should certainly watch the whole thing, if you hate Latin music, just watch the first minute or two and see if you can turn it off...

I'm learning a ton about all sorts of stuff - musical, spiritual, lifeical... I will share some soon...

Hi there

Hello all

I know it's been awhile since you've last heard from me...
Here's some updates:

1. I'm engaged, most of you probably know that already though.
2. I'm back in school - studying Music Composition at Cleveland State
3. I got a new bed - one of those sweet Sleep Number Beds - it's really nice
4. I'm in the market for iPod Touch donations - feel free to contact me as to how you can donate!

Ok, that's the big stuff for now. I've also decided to include my newest musical creation for you all to enjoy. Just wrote it today with some new software instruments I picked up - YEAH FOR FREE VSTi!!!!

Have a wonderful week friends.

The Acceptance Speech

I got an e-mail today from the head of Graduate Studies at Cleveland State University's Department of Music informing me that he just mailed off my letter of acceptance and I should receive it soon.  So, hopefully, I will begin my studies towards an M.M. in Composition in January.

"I am so glad to receive this e-mail notification today.  I spent hours preparing my portfolio, minutes filling out the application, and literally seconds distributing my blank recommendation letter forms.  I really can't explain the feeling that I have right now - actually, I think it's gas...  I would like to thanks all the people that made this possible.  Dr. O'Neel and Dr. Winteregg who instructed me in composition all those years back at the 'Ville.  Teah for helping me create a ludicrous senior project.  My parents, of course, who paid for all those lessons for all those years.  To Kevin, for accompanying me both in my journey and in my voice lessons.  I'd also like to thank Sarah, I'm not entirely sure her significance in my musical training, I just feel obligated to thank her because she's prettier than the rest of you.  And, of course, all the little people who helped me become the..."
