I can't wait. I'm a month away from home! Just separated by three weeks of classes, a case study, five finals in a row, and a plane ride home right after my last final. Is everyone going back home for winter? I hope to see all of you this break since it sounds like everyone's gonna graduate and stay on the mainland this year. Maybe I can plan our annual winter dinner again. What is everyone doing after this school year, anyway? I have three and a half years more of schooling. Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I hope I pass school. As someone put it, if I don't, it's like failing life...haha...what an optimistic view.

Someone's been using my toothpaste, and I can't find out who.

On another note, I can legally drink in the States now.

middle finger usage

I miss it. I didn't realize how important my middle finger is to me until a mosquito stealthily came in the night to suck my blood and spit in my middle finger and left calf. Now I have a big red bump on my leg and a swollen middle finger that doesn't have its usual full range of motion. I'm beginning to wonder what exactly bit me cuz my finger's getting pretty swollen. :\ Junk. Dumb mosquitos, you suck! (no pun intended)

i:m in narita-tokyo airport!!! that was the longest 7hr 20 min ride from honolulu to tokyo. i was in the aisle emergency exit row with lots of legroom, no storage space, and (because i was right near the bathroom) random pee smells at random intervals with crowds of people after meals and right after takeoff and right before landing. oh well. i:m in Japan. for all of a little under 2 hours. with japanese people. who speak japanese..hehe and the cool japanese products.

next stop: hong kong. (i stopped at Zippy:s two days ago) my ears hurt, and i:m at a free Yahoo! Cafe here. awesome. someone, come travel with me, it:ll make things funner. i don:t think humans were made to travel so far in so short a time (and so frequently). my body clock is so confused, but that:s ok. korea anyone? or taiwan?

and traveling without a watch isn:t a good idea. which is what i:ve been doing for the last year since two of my watches broke and the other one is lost. and it:s worse when your cell phone can:t tell you the time internationally without a registered SIM. and even worse when you forget to copy down your aunt/uncle:s (who are picking you up at a bus stop under a mall 10 min away from the house, driving) cell phone numbers before you leave because you can:t access your cell phone:s address book without a SIM. ahhhh... i have about five hours to figure out what to do..hehe good thing i memorized the house number last sem. hopefully they:re at home?

okay, gotta board in 10 min. at least there:s no old guy hanging around me wanting to eat my dim sum that i brought all the way from home 7.5 hours away(i would have given him some, except he didn:t start talking to me til i was on my last bite), and telling me all about his wonderful granddaughter who:s so much smarter and better than me and has a laptop that:s better than mine. oh no, boarding call...ok, better go before i miss my connection.
