Impala vs Deer

Last night I had a head on collision with a deer. 

I swear it was looking at me the whole time as it slammed into and bounced off of the hood of my car.

Strangest thing though (or maybe not that strange) - a split second before I hit the deer, I felt a prompt to slow down in case a deer pops out of nowhere.

Go figure.

To make things worse - or stranger at least - my rental car is a Cargo Van.  They didn't have any other car in stock.  It's the kind with no windows and no seats in the back.  The same kind that lurkers, drug-abusers, rapists, and snipers use to go about lurking, drug-abusing, raping and sniping.  Great.  How am I supposed to pick up the ladies now?!

JUST HAD OUR FIRST SERVICE . what a TRIP .

we're launching a church in the heart of north minneapolis, come july 15 (saturday)

the church and its ministry are geared towards urban and at-risk youth & young adults
we've partnered with other local churches and needs-ministries to provide a holistic and relevant worship & growth experience to reach those who are most often neglected

please pray for
 -- a hedge of protection, both spiritual and physical, for the ministry and ministers (including myself).  the area is no stranger to youth violence and murder
 -- revival, renewal, healing, and hope for those who come in contact with our church
 -- that God be in the center of everything and that His truth and love be conveyed with utmost power and clairty and with no compromise

if you would like to contribute financially to the church plant in its initial stages and beyond, please do so.  we have non-profit status and can give you a receipt for your tax purposes.  all funding and proceeds go directly to our operational budget, i.e., our staff see none of your gifts. tent-makers, baby!
