well. well, well... i guess it's that time.  time for me to post a new xanga thingy!!! yay!  man, i'm never on here anymore.  like once ever 2 months. haha.  um, so, what's going on in my life right now??  well, for starters... today Brian and i have been dating for 6 months!!  yep, i like him a whole lot.  um, another cool thing that is occupying (spelling?) my time right now are my classes.  you may ask me, Laura, why would your classes be cool?  well, they are cool because i'm learning about the human body this semester!  AND we got our cadavers in my anatomy class last week!  it was soooo amazing, fascinating, incredibly cool to cut into him and get our first glimpse of how the arm muscles work.  i was just working on opening up his right arm last week, but we get to do it again tomorrow!  i think we'll be working on the legs.  man, it was really cool... i can't wait to do it again. 

i just got done playing guitar hero... it was fun.  i've gotten really good at it.  i beat brian most of the time (heh heh) and i beat jon about 40% of the time... on the hard level too!!!  yeah, i'm pretty proud of myself. 

anyways... i'm tired, and brian and i are going to hang out for a little while now!  YES!

so, i'm back at school.  and i haven't posted all summer.  i'm sorry i'm so borring (is that spelled right?).  this summer lasted so long.  but it was a really great one.  i got to go back for my second trip to kykotsmovi, az to the hopi indian reservation mission school there for a mission trip... and it's just so amazing there... it really puts things into perspective and really gets you in tune to how awesome God is and how real he is; even in a culture as different as the hopi's.  but yes, it was definitly as good as the first time we went there last year.  after hopi, i went to new york w/ my man brian and that was a great week of fun and relaxation.  work of course filled up the rest of my summer... not fun.  but i did have to replenish my checking account. money is good.

wellp... and now, for the past few days, i have been an NSI mentor w/ my neighbor elizabeth for a group of freshmen here at snu.  this weekend/week has been pretty hectic.. but i'm so glad that i've done it.  my family group is so awesome! 

oootay... there's one of my few posts.  now that i'm back at school i'll remember to post every once in a while.  hope you enjoyed!  eeeeeeeehhhhhhhh.

so did anyone wake up on thursday having a feeling that today was different in some way... like you knew that today was a great day because it signified something so great and marvellous and spectacular.. well, i'm here to tell you that you felt these things because...... THURSDAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY!  happy birthday to me!  woot woot!   too bad my birthday had to fall on a thursday... a pretty stinky day to have a bday if you ask me... but nonetheless... i am Laura Stangeland... and no matter what day my bday falls on, it shall become the greatest day that ever was!  so, yes, thursday was definitly the greatest day of the week, because it was the 19th anniversary of my birth! (but last night, by the way, was perty fuuun... yay for bricktown and my man).  so, this is funny my dad told me on thursday morning that i should tell everyone to do my bidding today because i was the princess, and then i told him.... that everyone should just do that everyday, because i am the princess everyday!! mwahahaha! haha... okay, and yes, i was a tad bit hyper... but you know what.... IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! (not like it happens every day ya know)  and what a joyous occasion my birthday is.  *sigh*   haha.  well, i hope everyone wishes me a belated birthday... to those of you who were meany heads and forgot to tell me happy bday. but do not fear.. i still love you all, you just should not have been so naive about the greatness of this day. haha.    kbye! p.s. finals next week... dear Lord help me.  God Bless everyone!  and it's almost summer!

and so... i'm totally, majorly and hardcore-ishly into my soundtracks right now... so pretty.

WOW.  so it's been a long time since i've updated this thingy majigger.  man, i remember back in highschool i updated this thing daily... haha... yeeeah... i didn't have a life.  jk.  i love my pohi friends that made my life so cool!  i miss all my buddies.  but i do have new buddies here now... and i wouldn't trade them for the world.  love ya guys. 

so... neil and mark got their drivers liscenses this week... i can't believe they're that old now!!  crazy.... i love my brother... i can't believe he's getting so big! haha.  (kristen, you'll get there soon enough.. and i love you just a li'l bit too).

so... there's someone in the picture now.... and this person is basically pretty cool.  i guess you could say i'm totally diggin' it.  haha.
