Vacation Fun !

 We are having a great summer Yellowstone was beautiful, our family reunion was fun  and now we are in miami im enjoying the sun, since it has rained so much in tx lately. Any way here are a few pictures from our recents adventures.

This was one of the many geyers I thought it was beautiful looking at is across the river sometimes if the wind and sun are at the right angle you see a rainbow.

We saw so much wild life, this is one of the 6 adult bears we saw. We also saw a grizzly bear with her cubs cross the road. Pictures of that are fuzzy, yeah i wasn't getting out of the car.

We went whitewater rafting on the snake river, it was such a blast I want to do it again someday.  

This is a water fall we hiked to in Petit Jean State Park in AR. This is where we went for my family reunion.

This a beautiful light house in key biscayne, fl, I went to it while hubby was in the conference today.

Fishing!

 Well I guess it is time for me to update my blog. Just have'nt  had much going on.

This weekend we did though. My friend Niki and her family went fishing with us in LA. We had a blast even thought we didnt catch to many fish. On sat we fished all day, then on sun me, niki, her boys, and my mother in law went crabbing, we didnt catch too many crabs either but it was still fun for the boys. Then after crabbing we went on down to the only beach in LA Holly Beach and collected shells, flew a kite and played in the surf. It was truly a very relaxing weekend.

Im excited it is summer time we have lots of things planned, first thing planned is our family vacation with husbands family to yellowstone. It will be our first family vacation for 8 days hopefully it will be fun and we will form a tradition to do it every summer. Then next stop Arkansas for a family reunion on my side of the family. Then finally in July me and hubby are going to miami for a few days. So we will be busy traveling this summer but I am so looking forward to it.

Visiting my sister

For those of you that dont know I'm visiting my sister in kansas. She picked me up at the airport at 1:30 had a wonderful  lunch at subway then we were off to see her new home. It is an awesome I love it, it has so much character, she has really made it home. It is fun to see my little sister married and nesting in her home. Then after showing me around, off we went to do some skiing!!! Yay we had so much fun, we skiied for about 4 hours this afternoon I know I am going to be so sore tomorrow. Then tomorrow we are going to hang out and she is going to show me around town then off to some more skiing! Yay! We are having so much fun!! Well I better get to bed, sorry no pictures we didnt have a camera on the slopes maybe tomorrow. :(

   Ok so I have decided to udate upon request of my wonderful friend Niki whom is so amazingly awesome thank you for your encouragement tonight.

So tonight we had our lifegoup at our house and the Lord had laid somethings on my heart to start changing in our lifegroup. So i got the girls together and talked about how we can go deeper in the Lord and with each other. It was so good they were in total agreement with me so we are going to start meeting more often and just go deeper into the Word. So I am really excited about this but also very scared because I am the leader of this group and well those that know me well,  know that im really shy and quiet and not very talktive in big groups. But here i am with the Lord's stretching and growing me He is placing me in this leadership position. All I can do is say im willing and just be obedient to what he has called me to do. I always thought i would be doing something with children's ministry not women. But the Lord has chosen differently and i am at total peace about where i am so i know that i am in the Lord's will for my life right now.  Well i'll sign off for now but not without some pictures...
