  • I have the attn. span of a 3rd grader

Don't be jealous. I went back to the Boba place this week with a co-worker to make sure it wasn't a one time thing of being so wonderful. I also wanted to try the vietnamese sandwiches. I love Asian food, what can I say? I don't eat the weird squid, but I'll venture into anything with beef, chicken or pork. Yummmm. The sandwiches were good. The guy behind the counter at first wasn't the usual guy and he couldn't make nada. Argh! I almost wanted to go somewhere else when the usual guy/owner showed up. "I'm here! I'm here. What did you want?" My strawberry awesomeness. What else? He was out of boba, so he put some other jelly in it, and it was so good. I like that more than the usual tapioca pearls (balls). He kept telling customers coming in, "My balls aren't ready yet." Of course I laughed, but when he kept saying it to women, it was even funnier.

He then said, I need to stop saying that, huh? I retorted with, I think you like her. You think she's sexy (a la Miss Congeniality.)

Then he goes, "Yeah, you guys can come back later tonight, my balls will be ready." I was like, later, later? I'm a goob.

Anywho, Cowboy has been bugging me today. What do I hate discussing? Anyone? Anyone? That's right. $.

He didn't give me the benefit of the doubt on paying a bill (which I did) and it just annoys me to no end. Do not thank me in a message as if you're some retard telemarketer. Ugh, Ugh. Ugh. Of course, coming down from the high of this past weekend is no picnic. It sucks.

I'm trying to set up a co-worker with a friend of mine. They've both married/divorced. Each has at least one kid and I think they'd be good for one another. My friend is a hustla, meaning he's a go getter, and definitely knows how to romance a girl. My co-worker deserves that. I'm hoping it works out, but since we had a luncheon today that was outside in the 100 degree heat, all my co-worker wants is a big nap and some tylenol. Thank you. See? An appropriate use of the term.

I'm with her, but I haven't seen this friend in a while, and after that annoyance with Cowboy, I might just go. Pina coladas are calling my name today. Cool/refreshing is necessary.

Anywho, I better check with my friend/co-worker and see what my plans are after work.

  • Bday wishes

My birthday was fantastic. I got to go to the movies with friends, shop alone, and dim sum with Cowboy, fight night with the fam and just a nice relaxing weekend.

Wanted rox my sox. I loved that action packed movie.

Dim sum was delicious. Sticky rice, I love you.

Boba tea in NW Houston? Whee! I'm in love.

Time with Cowboy was just what I needed.

My mom's gift is sounding super awesome. Shopping in San Marcos? Whee! We're going 7/12.

Boss man is out all week on vacay, even awesomer. The 3 day weekend is feeling super close. I think a road trip is in order. I'm thinking Corpus or Austin. Corpus is sounding beachtastic/fishing for Cowboy.

I've been watching some truth about Islam vids as well as interesting vids on youtube for Daisy. This one was scary.

  • Business Time

Something is finally starting to shake me out of my funk... have you heard the tune, "Business Time" by Flight of the Conchords? Why not? I demand u go listen to it now...(Consider it my birthday wish!)

    Linky Link

In other news, a vendor, who will not remain unnamed (Black Eyed Pea) showed up 20 minutes late. Whee! Yeah, because I love 5 different people coming up to me to ask me where their lunch is that I ordered. I adore challenges like that. NOT! I called and gave them some ass chewing. I really gave the delivery driver a semi-public ass chewing. (Why? Because he didn't have a freaking cell phone!) That's awesome. Oh, and then this lil jewel came out..."They said I wasn't supposed to come until 11:45am." I look at his sheet, 11:15-11:30 CLEARLY on there. Dillweed.

No, I'm not moody, just cleary annoyed by that vendor.

Anywho, my cousin is planning a brunch or dim sum for me on Sunday. That sounds fabulous. Sticky rice and Boba tea always call my name.

I might have to escape this desk for some boba tea. Maybe... whenever my relief shows up.

I visited my mami last night. One of my favorite cousins from Dallas was visiting. He introduced me to really testing out the challenges of the slipnslide toy growing up. He was cracking me up last night as usual. He's a postal worker and he must be the funniest one I know. His Dad probably has alot to do with that. His Dad is one of my favorite uncles. His humor is inappropriate and side splittingly funny. My favorite antic? He'd wear this black hat that says Border Patrol on it when he'd go to the valley. I guess no one bothered him as much when he'd visit.

Ok, I'm coming out of it. I even feel a smile creeping up on my face... Watch out now. I guess I better put some make-up on to make this a semi-decent Friday.
