  • It looks like it has been just about forever since I last updated this thing! I have been using facebook a lot to keep in touch with friends and family. It's a fun thing! For those of you who still use this i will do a quick update on life.
Basically Josh and I worked through the summer like "normal" people. We went to work from 8-5 everyday then went home at night to relax and just hang out. In may I flew out to cali and surprised my mom for mothers day! That was a very interesting trip but well worth it! My mother-in-law came up to visit for a couple of days and we went to lake placid which was a great time. Now we are getting back into the swing of things being busy. We have our ACM ministry, Superbowls, Josh getting a lot of speaking opportunities which is very exciting for us, Discipling at the BI (which I absolutely love), and helping a friend plan her wedding! WOW! As tired as I may get or weary of the business of life I really do love all that we are doing here. God is using every situation to teach me new and exciting (but difficult) things. So Life is wonderful being a Wife!!!!!!!

  • It's been a while..........

Allow me to bring you up to date on the ever eventful life I live
following the Basketball marathon Josh spoke at we came back home and worked for the week then since the car needed work done we decided to take the faithful trip to Mass. Being as young and adventurous as we are partook on this  trip in the midst of an aweful  snow storm/ Blizzard.( SPEAKING OF SNOW IT"S STILL SNOWING HERE!!! we had a few inches last night and the forecast says we will be getting more off and on into next week!) We didnt really realize the magnitude of the storm  until it was  pretty much  to  late for us  to  turn around. We drove the entire trip in about 6 hours. (Keep in mind in usually only takes about 3) We had to drive between 30 and 50 the entire way, most of the highway was left untouched by a plow (why I have no clue) so there was about 3 inches of snow along the roads. Well we got there safe and sound and were ready for a nice relaxing weekend and let me tell you it was nice to spend time with family and friends but there were a few hours that ended up not so relaxing because we lost our only key to the car so that slightly extended our stay in Mass. Praise the Lord the car was fixed and we were able to get 2 more keys for the car and a few days later my sister in law found the disappearing key!
A few days later we were off to our internship! It was a wonderful time of learning and fellowship. I am looking forward to all the wonderful relationships Josh and I will be able to build on the field. We were there from the 23rd - 29th and while we were there we helped run a youth rally (not a WOL event! you could definitely tell it was run by a small less experienced church) and Praise the Lord about 10 kids trusted Christ as Savior!

    see my first fascar rally!

help with a Quiz blitz which is TONS of fun!

see my old roomie Krissy and spend some time together!

And last but not least spend time visiting Nicole at BBC (as well as many other fellow WOLBI grads!) It was such a wonderful time!
Now we are back at home doing the norm. Work for me and School for Josh. We are learning lots as in recent days the Lord has allowed us to be hit kind of hard with unexpected bills. God if faithful and will take care of us beyond what we could ever imagine! Please be in Prayer for us as we are trying to let the Lord teach us through this! Long post I know but I hope it was enjoyed. Have a wonderful day! Let me hear from you!

  • RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the Basketball/Dodgeball Marathon went GREAT!!!! It was a bit of a long trip around 5-6 hours or so and Josh only spoke for about 20ish minutes but it was worth it! God is so amazing how he chooses to work in and through our lives. I know Josh is a wonderful speaker and I knew he would preach the gospel clearly but the Lord did the work and we were blessed to see 28 kids trust Christ as their Savior that day! Wow how amazing! there were a few kids who raised their hands but didn't come forward and Praise the Lord that 2 kids were assured of their salvation! So the 6 hour trip was so much more than worth it to know that now there will be 28 more teens in heaven that weren't going to be there before! What an Awesome God we serve! Josh and I will be heading to John Collins home in about a week. We are hoping to stop at BBC before coming home that weekend to say a quick hi and hello to all of our dear friends there! well God is good and I need to get back to work so until then. Bye!

  • Coming Soon........

Well this weekend Josh has the awesome opportunity to preach at a basketball/dodgeball marathon in PA. It is going to be one that Cory Fehr (an Area Missionary) is putting on! I'm soo excited for Josh and know that he will do a wonderful job! PLease pray for us as we travel to and from and that the Lord will really use Josh and that tons of kids will trust Christ as their Savior. It's such an exciting opportunity for him I cant wait to see how it all goes! Life is going well here in the frigid north. Temperatures have not raised above freezing for quite some time it got down to atleast 12 below last night and our poor car was so cold it just didnt want to start. It finally did though which was a huge blessing! I'm happy we havent received any more Snow but I guess we arent out of the clear yet there could still be some but I pray not another 3 feet!!!!! Josh and I get to go on our first Internship together in about 2 weeks or so! We are going to John Collins from the 22nd-30th!!!! So exciting! I Love Pam and I know we will have a blast together! Well I think that's all the news for now I'll be sure to let you know how the B-Ball Marathon goes!
