| The night you said goodbye I knew forever we would part The things I'd always known That were buried in my heart Came rising to the surface Staring at my soul The memories of our love Could never make us whole Your love for me had disappeared Replaced by things i couldn't see You yearned for the past And a time when you were free As the pain began to die I knew I had to leave You weren't the man I thought you were And there was no reason to believe Your heart had changed once again But I had seen a glimpse of something great Of who one day you could become But for now it was too little too late | | |
| Back in Aggieland! But I miss you guys like crazy! Let me know when exciting things go on in your lives... for example... like Andrew finally getting his tattoo!!! woohoo! | | |
| So Rachel and I are currently on an endeavor to watch the Hannibal triology before I have to leave for Aggieland on Sunday. We've watched Red Dragon and hopefully either tonight or tomorrow can get through Hannibal. However, watching the first the other night made me think... These people/killers/madmen, all seem to be extremely brilliant. I mean the criminals that get away with the most are the ones who are so intellegent. But why? Is it their smarts that eventually cause them to go mad? Or are they just crazy and happen to also be geniuses? Either way if you pay close attention to these movies you find out just how brilliant these people are. Here's something else completely off topic.... Do you think that after this next semester the friendships we rebuilt over the break will be strained again? And if so... will they survive another extended absence? I mean our group of friends is unbelievably close, don't get me wrong. I mean quite possibly an enigma in the relationship world. But already some people have changed, including myself I'm sure, and I just worry that this summer could end up being awkward and sad. Hopefully, I will proved wrong though and it will just be 2 months of endless fun. I hope you all have amazing 2nd semesters and come out of them with great college experiences... and I plan to hear all of them (especially yours HaoWei ) | | |
| First of all I want to say Happy Birthday to one of the best friends a girl could have.... Caroline!!! Finally, you are no longer a teenager! I'm so glad that we've stayed close this semester and I appreciate you so much! On that note, I have to say we had one of the most fabulous birthday parties ever for 5 of our friends (Caroline, Ashlee, Joey, Andrew, and Jimmy K). We decided to do something a little different so about 22 of us went down to the west end and went to a comedy club. They got Andrew and the twins to do some of the skits on stage and then sang a retarded birthday song to everyone else. haha. Afterwards, we all went to dinner at Hoffbrau Steakhouse where Joey threatened to eat a 72oz... yes a 72 oz.... steak for $50 from Travis. Let's just say thank God he decided to work up to it by eating a 24oz. instead. Then we all headed back over to Caroline's for some smores, and as Hall put it "the gayest game we've ever played." Don't even ask. I ended up spending the night with Rachel which was alot like old times and a very clever way to get around my curfew rule with my parents. And yes I did say I had a curfew over this break! I know.... rifreakindiculous! For now, I've stayed in the last two nights since my parents are gone and I'm playing "mom" for the next couple of nights. I can't wait til they come back though and then the fun can start again. It's almost time for school too though so I guess I should make every second count until Sunday at 4 when i return to College Station.... Thanks to all my friends (and especially Rachel) for making this one of the greatest Christmas breaks ever!!!!! | | |
