"All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source of every mercy and the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 First, I praise God for His love and provision in my life, which inspired me to participate on this mission trip. And second, I would like to thank God for an amazing experience. And I would also like to thank God for blessing everyone on the team with good health, strength to work everyday, patience and comfort in God during our time of troubles, and unity among team members to fulfill our purpose. This mission trip had made me humble because I realized how much God has blessed my life, and made me appreciates everything that I have even more. Not only I am blessed with good health, a nice house, a good job, but also a relationship with a loving heavenly father. Whom I can depend on and find comforts in my time of need. It was heartbroken for me to see that these people are extremely poor, materially, but also spiritually. However, this trip was also rewarding to be able to help people that are less fortunate and show them that they are loved and cared for. I was told that our team was the best team ever. I think because I was there...hehe.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men," Colossians 3:23 This river is multi-services because people used them for bathing, washing dishes, washing clothes, washing food to eat, and more. It was gross but sad at the same time, because that is their way of life and they don't know any better. They don't know that this river is contaminated and very unsanitzing. Even if they do know, but there is nothing that they can do about it, because they don't have running water to use.

This trip was totally life changing for me. I loved every minutes of it. Eventhough we couldn't help much, but to see a smile and a little hope on their face is rewarding enough for me. I pray that God will open doors for me to go next year. Thank you everybody for supporting me financially and spiritually. Your prayers are extremely vital for this trip. |
