One question, before i leave for that (stupid! stupid!) field trip: Why are liberals called liberals? Why should we have to accept that name?

When it comes time to hold strong to law everyone should uphold it without giving elbow room for excuses. But the idea of liberal is that we give excuses and weasel our way around things.

I think theres a better name for us. Comments?

Just to clerify that the media does have bias (i think we all pretty much agree) i'm posting this article by ABC news.

 http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/358714p-305660c.html

Its totality is based on rumor, and "anonomous sources". It doesn't give any fact whatsoever, just emotional drissle.

What if Fox had printed something like this about clinton? I wouldnt beleive it.

Thanks for everyones input...your the best. (In my biased opinion lol)

Bias

I'd like to see some hard proof that Fox and CNN aren't biased. How can we not be biased? I think its unnatural for someones opinion not to be shown in the way they say things and do things.
Heck I can't write an essay for my classes without some of my own opinion coming out.

Now I agree with CNN in their bias, I do think that the present administration isnt all it could be but that doesnt mean i should defend them as being the only ones unbiased.

(and thank goodness for xanga spell check!)

I commented on Cindy Sheehan's blog (comment #129 or something). Shes the one that disobeyed in front of the White House, and then was arrested by two hefty dudes in black.

I said: "if I had been on that sidewalk I wouldnt have left even when arrested! I would have told those guys that i didnt care, ****! Why not? cmon if I can stand through 3 warnings why cant i tell them to get lost? :)"

But Jenny asked me in class today if disobeying the law was the best way to stop a disobedient Bush.(In this case, will you conserv.s just assume he is? Thanks. ). And then Jennys friend said that whereas sitting on the side walk was OK, resisting arrest wouldn't be.

"But they're both breaking the law!" I said.

I still stand by my comment to Cindy, but it has got me thinking.
