I went to the beach today 8D!
We were in the area for dentist appointments (dad and I), and we went walking on the beach and saw some manatee! I'd missed going to the ocean. It's almost like an ache I had to be near the water as been soothed for now.
We also stopped by the new turtle rehabilitation center they built (I volunteered at the old one a few years ago), and it's AWESOME. Very updated, and very nice. They have their own Guy Harvey mural too! It's pretty awesome. <3
Seriously, today made me think about going into marine biology again xD.

And I'm thinking about starting a new blog... I like to have a fresh start every once in awhile, but Xanga has no option to delete all old entries at once D: So I might start another Xanga account and continue to blog there. Yay? Nay? Any opinions?
I wouldn't want to stray far from Xanga though. I just like this place too much :3

Woo, finals are ALMOST over! Just one more on Monday, and that's it!
Most of it is take-home though, so I have to do it here... which kind of sucks too, because I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write for these questions. Reading through the book right now looking for some hints.
*flops* Geez, this week has been exhausting x_x...
I started work. I'm running low on expense money (and I don't want to call home for it). Got the new game The World Ends With You on Tuesday, but I haven't gotten to play it seeing as I've been working and studying for exams. Every machine on campus that takes money has been eating my change. I've had a hard time sleeping. Had a stomachache today, but it looks like my psycho-roommate is moving out soon, so that's good. Looking forward to it.
Actually, funny story about that last thing.
I was coming in last night with some other friends of mine (decided to spend the night at their place last-minute, so we all came back to my apartment so I could get stuff), and guess who I see walking towards me from the opposite end of the hall?

Is it wrong that I got satisfaction out of ignoring them completely? Didn't even look their way when I unlocked the door and let everyone in. I was put through too much shit because of that girl, and I was betrayed too badly to even grace her with a glance. I'd much rather pretend that she no longer exists within the sphere of my notice. And that's just fine with me.
I hope she realizes that she really has become irrelevant to everyone who used to hang out with her. I hope she realizes that all the falling-out happened because of her, and that she's just going to end up pushing everyone who tried to care away from her.
I hope it bothered her, at least a little. Is that wrong?
But anyway, yeah. This is the first time I've seen her in months, and hopefully she'll be up and out of here soon, and I'll be free of her drama filled self-pitying two-faced lying shit forever.

So anyway, yeah. Slept over, came back to campus and had a potluck with some other people down at the on-campus arboretum; it's like a garden, pretty much. A big green area with bridges and a little hedge-maze with walls you can still see over, and a small herb garden that's just being cultivated, and all kinds of trails that wind around and around. It's pretty awesome over there, even though it's still being built up. Got bitten up by no-seeums that were after our food (watermelon, oranges, casserole and those weird little reverse-Oreos, among other things), but I hear the red marks will fade by morning. They don't itch, so I'm not really worried about it.
And now, I'm just sitting around, halfway online and halfway studying for this final. I've got music playing to help drown out the sound of my roommate packing up her stuff in the kitchen. I think she turned the music up in her room soon as she heard mine.
Yeah. I really can't wait for her to go home. I hope she's transferring schools, so chances are I'll never see her again. That would be the best-case scenario for me right now.
So in this little haze of hopefulness, I'll continue to study as I mouth the words to Japanese songs I can't understand <3

THE BUS GAMER ANIME IS FINALLY OUT.
Been fangirling over that for the past week or so... but it's only supposed to be three episodes. That's pretty disappointing... I just hope this means that the manga is going to be continued soon.
Um, other than that... things have been going just about as per usual. Been playing a balancing game between school, socializing, and my own sanity... just two more weeks until school is over! But I'm going to be working during finals... which sort of sucks. But I seriously need the money.
That reminds me, I just had class sign-up... augh. I HATE doing that. It's all computerized here, and had to log on to the system at 8 AM for my appointment. And Italian (language class I've been trying to get into every semester) had filled up OVERNIGHT. GAH. There was ONE spot open when I went to sleep at like 2 AM, and I figured it would still be there when it was time for me to sign up.
Nah.
God just doesn't want me to learn Italian D:
But I got a pleasant break from tearing my hair out yesterday. My school gave away free tickets to Universal Studios (Islands of Adventure), and we all got to pile in there last night. The park was closed to the general public at 8 PM, so we go to run around like crazy people. Was pretty awesome <3 Though I got told off by some security guard for climbing on some plastic rocks.
... There was NO signs that said not to do it, so...
Don't really know what else to talk about (other than my cell phone disaster, but I'll save that lovely story for another time). I just can't wait for school to be OVER. I'm so done with all these assignments and exams.

This weekend was a BLAST! I loved the Ren Fair. I want to go back, but it was like, 20 bucks to get in. And I spent a whole lot more than I should have on gifts and stuff for myself... so I'm broke now. But STILL. I loved it!

Now I'm trying to hurry and finish everything before Spring Break starts next week... and Megacon this weekend! I'm going Friday-Sunday... so that means the assignment I have due Saturday should be finished by Thursday. And I have a paper due Wednesday that I haven't started yet. And I have a test Wednesday too...
*head-desk*
I really can't wait for the break to start...
And I'm looking forward to getting away from the drama too. I've already mentioned that things are bad between my roommate and I, but this weekend sparked it up again. Of course, I haven't heard anything from her, since I'm apparently dead to her now, but... well, there are other issues. The people I went to the fair with this weekend were her ex-boyfriend, his roomate/mutual friend, and his girlfriend. My roommate doesn't like us all hanging out together, but anytime anyone tries to talk to her, she ignores us. Plus, she thinks there's something between her ex and I. Which is completely stupid, and we've all established that were isn't, and never was, anything between him and me.
Buuuut she doesn't want to believe that, apparently. Despite the fact that she is dating someone else already, she is obsessed with her ex-boyfriend's friends. Especially the female ones.
So, since she wasn't happy with us going (and found out about the whole thing through Facebook... she wont talk to us, but she still reads our wall messages to each other... WTF?) she went over to the boy's apartment. Stuff happened. It seems to be quiet again, but I know it's not over.
I swear, I'm tired of looking over my shoulder every time I step out into the common area of our apartment. We're all worried that my roommate is going to become violent against me. My roommate who moved out earlier this semester had gotten an email with implied malicious intent from said angry roommate, and filed a restraining order before moving out. We're hoping it doesn't get to that point with me.
Really, I don't want to move out this semester. I don't think I should be the one who has to move out because my roommate is unstable. There's just too much stuff going on school-wise in my life, and I don't have time to be moving all my stuff around and worrying about her going cuckoo-for-cocoa-puffs. Thank god the doors lock in this place.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut anyway. Tangent much xD;?
I'll be going off and doing my work now.

Yaaaaay, a normal entry! If you consider this normal...
I have no classes Thursdays! So I went over to the library on campus, because there was a booksale... and I can't resist cheap books.
Unfortunately, there was nothing there that caught my eye. NOTHING. So I left and got some Burger King, which I'm hoping wasn't made with contaminated meat products... and then came back and napped, missing Photography Club because I was being lazy xD.
I should be packing now (going out of town so there can be Ren Fair fun over the weekend, yay!) and doing homework, but y'know how it is. Tomorrow is always a better day to do stuff than today... because... well, it's tomorrow!
... though I really should at least start to do some stuff xD;
