Day 4 came and went... still on track foodwise and still exercising like a demon. Went to the gym before work Monday, Tuesday and today (Thursday)... and intend to go again tomorrow morning. Tomorrow won't be the best foodwise because I'm going out eating and drinking with friends after work as an early birthday celebration.

Every time I get on the scales lately I'm heavier than I was the previous time (not a lot but at this rate it will soon be a lot) so I have decided I have to do something about it... again. I went to the gym for almost an hour before work this morning and have been eating healthily all day. Counting points like a Weight Watcher again. 2 poached eggs 2 points 1 slice toast 1½ points low fat yoghurt 1½ points low fat Cottage Bake 3½ points 1 apple 1 point 1 apple 1 point WW Cheesy Macaroni 5½ points mixed veges 0 points WW mousse 3 points 1 banana 1 point Total 20 points

I weighed myself at work today and I only gained 1.6kgs (3½lbs) since December 20th. Less than I thought so that's good. I went to the gym after work today. I'm back to working 9 hour days so I will have to plan my gym visits around that, which isn't easy. I worked out from 6.15pm to 7.15pm today, then did some grocery shopping for my mother and finally got home around 8.15pm. A long day. I enjoyed the work out though... didn't do the cycle today but spent more time on the resistance machines. I have a couple of arm muscles that are feeling the difference at the moment. It's all good though.

Still exercising like a demon... still not eating properly. I haven't weighed myself for over a month and I expect to show a gain when I go back to work tomorrow. Oh well... it was fun putting the weight back on

Still trying really hard to eat properly and failing miserably but still exercising like a mad woman. I didn't weigh myself today because I'm sure I've gained a bit since last week... although that could just be guilt talking because my new clothes still fit me ok. The pain in my butt from the cycle isn't decreasing with time... in fact, it is increasing. It now hurts to sit on ordinary chairs! It isn't exactly my butt, it is more at the base of my spine. The pain goes as soon as I stop sitting so I'm not too worried at this stage. I have had the problem off and on for about 3 years (since I sat on hard ground at the speedway for hours one night) but the cycling seems to have aggravated it. Oh well, no pain no gain as they say.
