| ok so i copied this off of Lynnes xanga, but that is ok because i was there to, and it is too long to type, so sorry Lynne at least i gave you recognition Sometime between 8 and 8:30, Lynne, Amanda and I left to go to Daniel Lee's house. We called Jonny like, three times trying to decide if we were meeting at his house, or the east mall. we finally decided to just get to Rock and call him when we got there. (Note: We're all driving separate cars.) So we get going along I-135 and miss our exit to get on Kellogg. So we go on to Lincoln and pull into Qwik Trip to figure out what to do. We decide to keep going on Lincoln because eventually we'll get to Rock. So we start going own Lincoln, but just as we get to Newman U, we discover we're on McCormick and not Lincoln! So we're getting kind of frustrated by now, but this really nice security guard or something comes up to us and gave us directions. pretty much we could get right onto Kellogg from there and follow it to Rock, So we get on to Kellogg and follow it until we see the east mall, and pull in there. We called Jonny after we parked and found out that everyone was leaving the party! Augh! We spent five or ten minutes trying to figure out what to do...we wanted them to come meet us, they wanted us to meet them at like, two different places. Meanwhile, Katie is talking to her mom, who said to get out of there because it wasn't safe. Wonderful. So we circled the parking lot for ten minutes before we pulled into a parking lot right across from a security guard so we felt safer and called again. We finally decided to meet at Wal-Mart. So we have to drive down Rock again. We tried to pull into a Panera bread so we could sit in a coffeeshop and cry. But they were closed, so when we got to Wal-Mart, we ignoring it and went to Starbucks and made the guys meet us there. After we ordered, the guys showed up, whom we were all upset with, besides the fact that we were on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and we all sat outside where the guys tried to get us to see reason. They wanted to go to school to play sardines or something, but we were so not ready to drive again. It was probably twenty minutes or more before they convinced us to go. So we get there, and and pretty much did nothing until it was time to go, because we had no energy, besides that weird high you get from exhaustion. We did play sardines with teams...that was interesting.... |
