| What I've been thinking lately..Not a clue..
My mind's just going blank. Today was perhaps one of the most longest lab day ever. But before I start with that, I'll mention about my other classes that I went to, beforehand. First class of the day, organic chem.. yay! (not really) I'm getting confused with all the mechanism that Dr. Martin is showing us.. I haven't look back at the notes we took on Friday, but I know one thing.. I'm gonna forget them.. He's making us learn more and more.. gosh.. and also for those who will be going to organic chem 2.. they'll definitely have to understand these mechanism inside and out.. AND guess what.. I'm gonna be one of those people, who has to take organic chem 2.. *sigh* The thought of all of these mechanism and equations are soo OVERWHELMING! I scared! Then there was my introduction to literature class. First thing we did was take our pop quiz. YAY! (ughers!) But I read the story, not like the other 45% of the class who DIDN'T. Even though I read the narrative, her questions are very vague. I might be close and somewhat vague but could still end up losing points or missing the whole question. This class is definitely a nightmare. I've always had decent grades in english, but this class; especially this teacher, seems quite demanding. I'll survive. Now for the lab. It usually starts at 12 and ends at 4. The experiment seemed easy enough to do, "Dehydration of 2-MethylCyclohexanol." Yes it was quick, but the chart for the gas chromatography took FOREVER! I had everything cleaned and done by 4:00, except the chromatography. I ended up waiting for it to scan and print. I didn't leave till 4:45. Sarah was starving and so was I. We both didn't eat from the time we woke up (8:30) till 5:00. Starvation can make a person do weird things. Yeah.. Also our last class of the day, Calculus.. We were still lectured with displacement, velocity, and distance. Then finally, our instructor mentioned 'derivative.' I was like, sweet.. finally. Haha.. but that was only mention at the last 5 minutes of class. Hmms..
Also, I'm knitting again, but slowly. I would like to learn how to knit other things..
Now I'm tired. Goodnight. :) Don't I complain a lot? :)

| Ups and downs.Haven't update for a week.. I'm definitely slacking off with this blogging stuff. Again with school-bound. Actually I don't mind, it keeps me busy and away from all my international-related habits.. I would like to blog about my grades so far. I know what you guys are thinking.. gosh.. bragging and craps, but not really. Well I got my grades for my 1st organic chem test, I made an 82. But on the grading scale, for that class, it's considered an A-. So that's okay I guess. Then there's my 1st organic chem lab report. I didn't think I did all that great, but I got a 100. He said he liked how I had a data table and how I was organized. But my second one won't be as nice.. I didn't really put much effort in it. :( Next is my 1st cell bio test, I made a 91. That's quite nice, but it's with loads of studying, cramming and knowing how the test would look like, from an older test I got from a friend. :) Thanks Yen! Last, there's my 1st calc test, I got a decent grade.. 94. I missed one problem, hmmms maybe I should start taking this class more serious! I really want to make high As in calc. Since I know math is one of my higher skills. yeah. Oh yeah, there's one more class.. I totally dread for this class, it's intro to lit. My 1st quiz grade was a 50 and my 1st in-class essay was a 70. HOLY cow! How did I even get such low scores, my teacher must hate it how I write. I have bad grammar and argumentation skills. But she insists that we get our paper tutored(corrected) and show her the correction from the 'writing lab' and we earn 10 extra points on that in-class essay. I did that already, so I guess I have an 80 for that essay. hmms.. it's still not good, but I'll try to do better next time, which is this friday. That's about it for the grades.
Then there's life. I love it how the weather is changing, it's getting much cooler in the morning and at night. I just wish it was as cool in the afternoon. I think I spend way too much time at school.. no time for family or chill time with friends. I don't even think I can go to 'hard rock abs' with Tieu-Linh, Wendy and James. I don't like to rush to class after the workout session.. but I might go again, once it gets cooler.. :)
