heeelloooo!! why yes, it is an update hehe that face is funny. I should prolly be doing the bundle of work that i have piled up but i think i'll tell yall what's been up in my life.

So, i FINALLY got to see all the LAKErs durign spring break!! that is REALLY excitin :) I miss yall bunches and hope all is wonderful and swell! One minus though was that me and deeps didn't do our ROUTINE!  hehe but it's okie, cuz it was just GREAT seeing that chika again   Well yall should all NOT stress out too much about school cuz yall are brilliant, smart people who can handle ANYTHIGN that comes your way. (in otherwords: YOU CAN DO IT!!) hehe oh yes, and to the Golfers: good luck with district, regionals, AND state! I am quite assured that yall will do brilliantly this year again. It was WHOAIE awesome to see yall, and I had a bunch of fun!

So now you ask.. what gave me the motivation to update? I've got four letters for ya.... P-R-O-M!!

So yeah, that was REEEAALLLYYY fun! illl tell you my whole day! (if you don't wanna read about it.. i've split it up into four sections)

Morning: So, I got up at 8 to go to volunteering at Vision Ministries at 8:30. It was my FIRST time going and i was SUPER pumped up! Except.... I had gone to sleep at around 2 that night, and had two hours of sleep the night before.... So.. I kinda fell asleep on the couch. BUT thank God that Becca called me (sidenote: she's one of my SUPER AWESOME AMAZING senior mentors, and she's like one of my ROLE MODELS! yeah... she's GREAT! oh yeah! everyoen should congratulate her cuz she got into CORNELL!!!! hehe i love you Becca!) Alright.. so Becca called me at like 8.40 am and was like "are you coming?" I looked at the clock and was like "OH NO!!" so yeah.. i got ready in a record-time for myself! (FIVE minutes) I was veeerryy proud hehe Vision Ministries was GREAT! We went to a place where there were a bunch of apartment complexes and just set down all the clothes that had been bagged that ppl donated and knocked on each door to inform them about what was goin. It was just WONDERFUL! and plus, we were blessed with wonderful weather and lots of ppl came :) I enjoyd it mucho! GREAT way to start a wonderful day

Afternoon: Aight, so i get back at 12ish right? Monica and I need to leave at 12.30 to get our boutinneires (sp?) for hte guys so that we can leave at 1 o clock for the hair appointments at 2.15 pm. (takes an hour to get to the place) I come back... run to my room.. rush to shower, shave, and yada yada.. got out at 12.45 (eeks!) got back at like... 1.15? (heh heh.... sorry to anika and rani, who were also coming with us) So, we ran to our rooms dropped off our bourtinneires in the fridge. got lunch (apples/oranges) and packed for a semi-road trip. WHEEE so the car ride was fun. Monica is a WONDERFUL driver! (when she's not in a rush, hehe) So the place is AWESOME (Ogle School in Dallas) and everyone comes out looking just FANTASTIC! However... our appointment times take longer than we thought it would.. and we end up leaving from there at like 4.25... (it takes an hour to get back and we have to be ready by 5.15... this is bad) So we are driving and are ten minutes away from Ogel School when suddenly monica goes "WHERE IS MY PLASTIC BAG?!" yup.. itw as left at Ogle School. We go back to get it and so we leave from ogle school this time at like 4.50ish.... We wanted to run over pedestrians and hit stupid cars in the parking lot, almost got into an accident, and screamed alot, (very ironic since we looked like "proper young ladies" with our hair.. but everyone was screaming and huched forward in an attempt to make hte car go faster) BUT we made it back at like 5.50ish and RAN upstairs to change. Mon and I change and run downstairs only to remember that we left the boutinneires in the fridge... aiiiyyaaa... we run back upstairs, sprint through the hallways in a peculiar way since we didn't want our hair to fall out of place and fnally get back down.

PROM!!: So mon and I met up with our dates: Monica went with, of course, the sweet Mr. Tyler Highful (her cool seven month bf!) and I went with, theAWESOME Mr. Chintan Sutaria (this really cool dude who's super skinny and tall!) Btw: thanx Chintan for being the BEST date ever! I had an uberly aesome time! Our whole group was waiting for us.... heh heh... so we walk out the front stairs of our dorm and discover a nice beautiful white LIMO waiting for us!! (HOW EXCITIGN! never driven one until yesterday  ) So we got in and everythign was soooo nice: beautiful glassware, cute lights, and really really strong A/C! So we are supposedly going to "Olive Garden or Chuck E' Cheese's, i miss that place, or McDonald's!!" but nope.. turns out the guys took us to Avanti's for dinner (mmmmmmm... YUMMY! in fact i'm eating the left overs as I type). Oh yes, by the way.. some of the girls did NOT know what hte plans of the night were since the guys wanted it to eb a surprise. and a surprise it was! Thanx! Afterwards... we discover that we are gonna go over time on the limo time.. so we couldn't go to this place that the guys pikced out to do pictures. (heh heh sorry.. it was prob cuz of mon and i's tardiness taht we went overtime) Well.. newayz, so yeah we did our boutinneire/corsage exchange thingies in the limo hehe Lots of bright flash pictures were taken in the darkish limo... ouch for our eyes. But it was mighty cute i must say.  So we arrive at TWU where prom is gonna be at. the decorations are AWESOME! It was like a movie dance where there were music videos played and stuff like that. it was cool! So it was REALLY fun seeing everyone alll gorgeous/handsome! Chintan pulled out some awesome moves! Oh yeah, and that superstud got Prom Duke too (congrats!) at certain poitns in time, everyone who had seen hitch pulled out the "Q-tip" move, "start the fire" move, "can't stop this" move, "makign the pizza" move, and "washing machine" move.. hehe so fun so fun! So,after prom we get back to the dorm at 12.30ish.. adn we're leaving at 12.45 for AFTERPROM at speeedzone! So once again, mon and I do some massive quick changing and get downstairs.

Afterprom: ALLL of the games in the arcade were free, poker was played, and there were go-carts and drag-racing. I heard there was also the golf putt putt stuff. (didn't get to play that) But yeah, i must say, that Afterprom was WAAYYY fun! Wit h the exception that i decided to wear SHORTS on a very cold night.. i'm deff not the brightest crayon in the box... I wish we had more time to play everything.. but everyoen was tired as whoa by the end. So i guess it was good that we weren't given more time.  I discovered that i stink relaly bad at the shooting games and that i'm a horrible driver (although, the latter was not so surprising to me)

All in all: the whole Prom-day was A BLAST!! Thanx to everyone, esp c-dawg, for everything!

hey, how is everyone back at Lake? I miss all of you so much!

edit: i wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to the uberly awesome Justin who not only updated FOR me, but also made my xanga site so much more exciting   You're so cool man!

I had written this big jumbo update, and hten i realized that it was 1.30 and the internet here shuts off at 1.20   But i reallie REALLIE miss all of yall a BUNCH! We've all had a bunch of good times together and they'll stick with me ALWAYZ. I come back on October 1st and 29th. I hope i'll be able to see yall during those weekends! Please do keep me updated on how things are. and ANYTIME that yall need to talk with me just gimme a call 832-878-8938 otherwise, i'll find YOU 

Food here isn't as good as momma's cooking, but it's good enough. i'm hooked on ICE CREAM mmmmmm.... hehe i could deffinitely gain a few pounds here (in fact i'm having a competition with a friend of mine concerning this) It is lots of fun up here. Lots and lots of independent study. Classes.. i don't have to WAKE UP till like 7 (aroudn the time that u have ot be at school)   you're jealous aren't you hehe I like it a lot up here, but i stil miss Lake. When i call some of yall, i feel guilty cuz of yall's homework load.  I really hope that yall are doing okay with all the stress and everything.

1. We’ve been through SO much together this year! And what is CRAZY is the fact that I JUST met you this year!! Thanks so much for always being there for me. I’ve ALWAYZ been able to trust and count on you. Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have met you this year. I’ve learned so much in our friendship! (or should I say, twinhood :P) Through the ups and downs, we’ve MADE IT! I wish that we could chill together more though over the summer L I expect HUGS the first time I see you!! Haha Do you remember our routine? *hug, slap, sorry attempt at a handshake* I will always laugh when I remember our little corner in debate or the time when you were accused of having a bf because of the long phone calls. :P No matter what, I know that you’ll always have my back! (and I will ALWAYZ have yours!!). Oh and one last VERY important thing…. LULATT!!

2. SISSY!!!  Our friendship is the LONGEST friendship I’ve ever had with ANYONE! And we were actually the ones to spark the friendship between our parents too!! Wow.. we have seen a lot together have we not? You are such an amiable person to each and EVERY person/animal. In fact… you might be TOO nice. Don’t let people take advantage of you!! I don’t want you getting hurt! Thanks for always being such a great listener, for all your support, and for being so caring. I love you a LOTTA!!

3. I’ve got THREE words to describe you as: MY CUTIE PATOOTIE!! You are such a sweeetie  and of COURSE a cutie!! Thanks for all the smiles and laughs you gave me and thanks for being a WONDROUS friend this whole year! You always know what to do in sticky situations!! I’m glad that I got to have lunch with you! (fun memories in that 45-minute period :D) luv ya MUCHO! Oh and watch out for all those men that’ll be lining up for you!! (if they haven’t already) :P

4. You have been one of my closest friends in the past three years! I know we had a shaky start because of my stupid biotchyness, but I’m glad you were forgiving. You’ve ALWAYZ listened to my whining and comforted me when I was in tears. I know I can always rely on you. I only wish that I could repay you for all that you’ve done for me. Wow.. i haven't updated in a whoaie long time! Well, everything is goin swell i guess. Kinda bored so i took a quiz and this is my result:

Wow.. i'm so insecure now-a-days. I just realized that people notice what i'm wearing or where i am. I alwayz thought I was just a figure out in the background. (due to my low self-esteem i guess, or maybe that was the truth) but yeah the other day i was jsut wearing my pjs to school and ppl were like "whoa... i didn't know that was you, cuz u usually don't wear stuff like that."   haha in harsher words they were saying, "Wow, diana you look like crap!"    And ppl actually miss me when i'm gone and call me abotu where i was when i have a golf tourney! wow, i sound like such a loser. but what i'm basicallie saying it means a lot to me that yall care and notice. Those "little" things can easily change my day :) 

These days have been pretty crazy, spring break is in (not being technical here) 5 days! i'm going to FINALLY be able to watch My Sassy Girl, given to me by Charles (THANX LOTZ!) a few months back i believe. heh heh I oober wanna see The Passion of the Christ. Not for entertainment, but for knowledge and for truth. Then, I might want to watch Cold Mountain. (dunno if rents will let me tho) haha i'm such a planner.

oh no.. i'm gettin VERY forgetfull. i seriousllie prolly have the memory of a 70-year-old. My RENTS constantly need to remind me about various things. It's pretty bad. This is a reason for my obsessive-compulsive need to be organized lol If nothing is in it's place, i forget where i put it. Therefore, my planner is muy importante to me. hehe call me a nerd, but i blame it all on my memory.

oh for all yall who don't know, we adopted a dog  His name is Perry, and he looks JUST like Minnie. We've had him for a little more than a month, and he's been such a sweetie! I think i've become more attached to Perry than  i was with Minnie. Probably because now i know what it means to have something you love so dearly one second, and the other second, it's gone.  On a bright note, everyone who's come to see him has thought him as a darling. (His personality is not like Minnie's) If you wanna see him, come by my house sometime!

Everyone who'se going through tough times, u can ALWAYZ talk to me about it or if u want a hug, i come with open arms. things WILL get better! And if you think that no one cares, I DO! To those chikas who are having problems with the male species, forget it and move on (it's reallie not worth it). I know it sounds reallie cliche and that it's easier said than done, but that's the key to your contentment. Who knows, once you move on you may find a brighter fish in the sea

the only reason why i'm updating this is because someone *coughdaniellincough* had said my site was a waste of the internet and that i need to let a few things out.

well, if u haven't heard alreadie.... my dog, Minnie, the lil white american eskimo, passed away on the 28th of October. i was and still am utterly heartbroken because she was only 5 and a half years old. Also, she was only sick for four days. She had kidney failure. and we didn't know about this problem until after this all happened cuz that usuallie happens to 8-year-old dogs. the main reason why i didn't wanna tell anyone cuz i didn't want many ppl worrying about me. then also, my rents didn't wanna tell michael, my bro, about this. and this was something that i thought my bro deserved to know. but we all knew that my bro would become supersad about it and also there are three of us here and only one of him up there in providence. and he is one of the reasons why i'm acutallie posting this up here. michael if u read this: i'm reallie sorry that we had told u this late. i hope u are alright.  and this also exclaims my mood for the past few days. she and i got superduper close in the past semester. she actuallie used to pick on me all the time cuz she knew i was the youngest of the family. (she technically was older than me in dog years) but she has lately been with me while i was doing my hw, and rite next to me during dinner and alwayz welcoming me when i came home. When i had a bad day, she would be a loved one that i would look forward to at the end of the day. and even tho i've come to accept it, i stil miss her alot. she was alwayz loyal, sweet, and cheerful. RIP Minnie. i miss you soo soo much and love you lotz

Things just declined from there. literally, everything has been declining. and i could go on saying how everything has been declining. but i don't feel like it and if u relalie wanna know then IM me about it. Also, i've gotten so used to it that it just seems like background music to me.  well i take that back. everything EXCEPT family has been declining. my family has been so supportive lately it is amazing. i am very thankful to have my rents as my rents. i am so blessed. i only wish that we could visit Michael. he must be going thro all this three times worse than us. so plz pray for him that he will have the strength to get thro this hard time.

Then, today i had golf tourney. was hitting the ball pretty good but then i suddenly dislocated my thumb. of course, itz back in itz place now but i deff stressed some ligaments, and will not beable to mess with it for at least a week. my golf will deff be declining. but oh well, things happen don't it? itz just this also happened last year, except my thumb popped ( u could hear it ) but i still think that this year is more seirous than last year's thumb injury. cuz i acutallie dislocated it whereas last year, i just popped it reallie weirdly. but plz aslo pray for my thumb that it will get well soon.
