Last weekend

ooh lookie a title. I had a cool weekend. Yes, cool. or in that wondrous movie Mean Girls, 'grool.' Yeah first i went to watch v for vendetta on the halfday and was lost in central park. walked a good three miles. entered at the zoo entrance... 57th if i remember properly and then kept walking all the way till 81st at the museum. yeah then had to double back to 68th is because we needed to go the theatre. by this time, we were all dead. angela was worried joggers in short shorts were going to snort some more and tamara stared at the little squirrels and the flowers. we were supposed to meet sam w. who DID NOT move to poland or north carolina. har har. yeah we eventually got there.

then we found a place to eat. here, angela dropped her whole wallet on the floor after ordering. it took us a good half hour to decide (we weren't really thinking of food... just of how the blood was flowing back to our legs.) sam w. seemed vexed at our behaviour. we managed to get out of there full and rested and on our own feet. (we were not kicked out, phew). watched the movie. made about a dozen trips because we couldn't leave anyone alone at the theatre. it just wouldn't be nice. so i went to the bathroom twice, for myself and to accompany someone. then went to get food but someone forgot the butter. then someone forgot napkins and a drink. (we're very organized.) wow this is getting long.

movie was great. so many references! SOOOO many to heart of darkness and the secret sharer. Go j. conrad! whoooowowwowowhooo. i have no clue what that's supposed to sound like. but yes, take ap eng with kramer and watch it. you will be stunned by how your brain now thinks... and a little frightened. so that was my friday.

on saturday. wow how do i begin. just remmeber that i was supposed to get to the museum for a trip at 12:45. i left around 11:30. plus or minus a few minutes. met sam t. at the train station after getting stared at by a creepy man. (was NOT the least of my worries in hindsight.) didn't realize that waiting at the booth would have been more logical but saw him anyway on the platform. (t, not w. ) good timing. the plan was (please don't tell me of other ways... i don't want to confuse myself even further. on weekends when there's no B i take this route) we take the q to 34th to get the d, taking it all the way to 59th for the c. and voila we're at the museum. ahhhhh but not so much. got lost. my fault. yes, all my fault. saw the F on the d side, though oh it'll be ok i see an f taking the b. nosireebob. shipped us off to roosevelt island where it was scary. and there were loud noises. and there was construction so we couldn't just hop over to the other side and go back. went all the way into the middle of queens to roosevelt avenue and took it back. but this time it was around 1. called angela at the pay phone when we go to 81st-museum. she yelled out some... profane words... and told me to get my tush over to 42nd. we did. and got there around 1:15. rememeber, i was supposed to be there at 12:45. she yelled... and then ran away to look for female rap artists.

we were doing a scavenger hunt on 42nd for gender stereotypes. it was an awesome project and i'll post pictures in a few days b/c joann has them and is scanning them. yahhhhhh. and we ran around like crazy people, taking pictures and counting the amount of guns the gi joes have. and the bratz dolls... sam t was good at that... seemed awfully familiar with where the names were. i was just blind. went to toy r us. they have a ferris wheel! found a girl wearing pink and took a picture. mwahahahah we got her! of course we asked for her parent's permission first!

sunday did a project on mean girls for the class. went to the class on monday and discovered:

WE WON!!!!!!!!!!! 426/9 points!!! won by a landslide!!! so my lateness didn't affect it! wahoomie. and now i'm here. going to shower and study for chem. OH WAIT. forgot about the molestation.

yeah so angela and i took a picture with the naked cowboy. *shudders* he touched my face. i don't like being touched so much. seriously. and he touched my face. not just touching but fondling!!! *cries* angela had a finger run across her neck. now i am traumatized forever. forever and ever. and sam t took a fuzzy picture, so the moment is not captured forever. o boy u must see this picture. it's beautiful. you can laugh and point at my face... and at the suffering i went through. ok not suffering.. but just never again.

never ever again.

rhetorical question: If one isn't appreciated in life, could they live a happy life? If you aren't recognized for what you do, would you be happy?

-----

does it mean we're just living our lives for others???

Annoucement: for all of those who are advancing into the 2nd round of NYCSEF at Polytech, go see Mr. Stack on Monday.

-----

Senior-itis has officially kicked in. I have missed another class of economics (i believe this is the 5th one so far) due to my want for sleep. Not need, since I am getting much more sleep than usual, but WANT!!! I'm also slacking off because there's not much pressure in the classes anymore. Intel and lab is over, applications are over... it's all good. (ack) There are only scholarships and my AMNH classes left (which are awesome because i go to the Park before to wander. most would bird-watch. I guess you could call what i do 'man-watch.' Angela and i have sharp eyes =) although, at that hour not many people are there) Feel the wonderful spring-goodness everyone!!!

listen!

Is that a new boy stuck on your shoe
Come on Annie, How is it so?
You’ve always got a new bubble to blow.
