Apartment Hunting

even though no one seems to be on xanga anymore, i thought i'd post something to see if anyone is interested in moving into the white marsh/perry hall/nottingham area. i'm trying to move out around august (or even as early as the end of July). if you are interested or know someone that's interested in moving, please please please let me know.

i've been searching and looking at a couple of places and it seems that my best bet is to find a roommate. i'd much rather prefer to live with someone i know (sorry craiglists!) or at least someone who can vouch for someone else. i'm looking for someone who would like to share a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment or condo and is able to spend ~$600-700/month in total living expenses (including rent, utilities, tv, internet, etc).

as for me, i'm a pretty tidy person who enjoys being social but really appreciates privacy and down time. i'm really interested in exploring cooking and wouldn't mind a roommate wanting to do the same. hey, cooking for one is probably harder than cooking for two..so why not! i prefer a friendly, non-smoker, non-drug user (yeah, i've had bad ones in my early college years)..young professional (aren't we all?)..someone respectful of common spaces..able to be financially independent..possibly willing to live with a pet (if i were to ever dog-sit my family's pups)..willing to share household responsibilities and even perhaps grocery expenses..i know the right person is out there, it's just a matter of finding them! thanks everyone!

Out of town (again)

Back out again in California visiting my sister in Berkeley!

Work has been fun i guess...new experiences are always interesting the first time around. The travel is not so horrible either. But i think my body is just crashing from being extremely tired and busy. You name it -- weekdays, weekday night, weekends...just always seems like i'm on-the-go doing something for someone else. So i guess what's nice about this Cali trip is that i feel like i'm actually doing something for me. Sometimes i think, "wow, you are way too young to feel this tired" but i'm a pretty busy girl these days. It may be sad but my solitary enjoyment consists of Sudoku and TV.

This year has brought a lot of changes for me and with thanksgiving, christmas, and new years approaching, its not too early to start drafting resolutions and assessing my priorities in life. Its been a good year overall, but i feel some changes are coming up for the new year.

P.S. -- Listen to Robin Thicke -- he's my favorite artist at this moment.

The aftermath of JP's night...needless to say, people were very understanding that he needed to be carried back to the hotel and even clapped for him on the metro when we explained that he's going to get married and that's why he's effed up! lol...
