28 Weeks!
[[AND STILL NO STRETCH MARKS!]]

This is honestly getting too weird! 12 more weeks [or 10 or 14] before Isabella Lynn is here. I had a mini-panic attack last week with Kylie, and I think he had one a couple days later. It's just scary that me and him created this baby and now we have to take responsibility and raise it. An actual human being that's going to rely on us for everything for a few years is going to be here by the end of this year --- AND THAT'S JUST FREAKY! I'm always worried about what kind of Mom I'm going to be. I know Kylie's probably a little worried about what kind of Dad he'll be. Sometimes I feel guilty, like I trapped him into this relationship. He's only 19 [9 months younger than me] and even though he says it's not true, I still feel like it is. Everything happened so fast with us ... I never intended it to be this way, but it is what it is. I'm in love, I have a precious princess on the way and I'm fine with that.

It took me FOREVER to fill out all those thank you cards! I thought my hand was gonna fall off. Apparently, Kyle's family is giving me a baby shower, plus some people at the church are as well. Then, when we get our own place they're going to give us a housewarming party/shower. Personally, just my opinion; I was really shocked all those old ladies showed up at my Wedding shower. I know how old people are, stuck in their ways of thinking --- they probably don't look too kindly on ALREADY pregnant brides. I know an old guy in the church said something like "Our youth group is ridiculous! You got one girl who won't date nothing but black guys, and one girl who got pregnant THEN got married." First off, it's not a religious issue what race of men/women you prefer; second, aren't we supposed to forgive? We're in the church for pete's sake and people are talking like this. Let 'em talk;; making me famous, yo. ;)

Kyle's Momma and Daddy are going to buy the paint for Izzy's room. [I'm trying out new nicknames for the baby, k?] We picked out pink and green, and we're thinking about putting up those chair banisters that go around the center of the walls ... [not sure if thats what they're called] Maybe paint the top half pink and the bottom half green --- idk. I'd hate to do it and then having it end up looking like cat barf, you know? I just want to get stuff started in that room. We cleaned it up, but there's a list of stuff that needs to be done. We may be getting a crib from Kyle's family, and we already have a dresser --- just needs to be painted white. We need some pet nets for all the stuffed anim.als I can't seem to part with, more hangers, shelves, a changing table --- LOTS of stuff ...

... I'm rambling.

I'm a little bored today. I had my wedding shower at the church yesterday afternoon. Alot of older women from the church, half of who have never even spoken to me showed up. I appreciate their gifts though! We got alot of towels & kitchenware, which we're going to keep most of it so we'll have it for when we get our own place. We've picked out Nursery Paint, so thats exciting. After church last night, I went out to eat with Monica and Aaron, which we haven't done in over a year, so that was nice. ANYWAY --- I'm bored and have to write out thank you cards, so I'll just put up some pics. Love y'all!

I've Written around 100 poems,
but have only had One published.

I have a strange VAMPIRE obsession, along with
Haunted Places, Jack the Ripper, and Paranormal Stuff.

I've known my hubby for 4 years. We started dating in February '08,
became pregnant in April '08, became engaged May '08,
& got married in September '08.

Even though I've never researched on my own, My Grams has
looked into our family history to find out that our early
ancestors were Train Robbers and Horse Thieves.
She then stopped looking any farther.

Things that jump really freak me out:
Crickets, Jumping Spiders, Kangaroo's.

My hubby has strange tattoo's.

I refuse to go to [or take my child] to the circus. I just feel
that it's not normal for animals to preform like that, & I've seen
too many hidden camera documentaries to think that
these animals enjoy themselves out there.

My Babygirl Monkey, who I found over a year ago,
is really named "Violet Topanga". She got her name "Monkey" after I
heard a standup routine by Dane Cook telling his audience how awesome
he would feel to know he had a monkey waiting for him at home.

I cannot stand racism. I see nothing wrong with Inter-racial relationships,
& people who say there's anything wrong with it needs to read Numbers 12: 1-15
in their Bibles. Let's not end up like Moses' sister Miriam shall we?

I live in the Bluebird Kingdom of The World [or so our "Welcome" sign says.]
Personally, I rarely ever see bluebirds; or chipmunks for that matter.

My Great-Grandfather on my Dad's side was originally from Scotland.
He was in the "McCurdie Clan", but for some unknown reason, there was a
falling-out and he moved to America and changed his last name to "Curdie".
He passed away before anyone found out about the disagreement.

Since we've moved, I found that I live near a haunted location. The place is called
"Bethel Bridge", & it's said that a long time ago, a carriage crossed the bridge & wrecked
into the bank below. They say if you walk across is, you can hear the carriage in the distance.
I have yet to find this bridge, but this theory will be tested when I do.

death of my Grandfather. After I vented about that, I've been addicted.

We Needed This ...

So, the honeymoon is basically over.

I have been just annoyed with Kyle lately, & it seems like the poor man cannot do anything right. I love him to death, but I guess I keep comparing him to my dad, who honestly seems like the greatest husband ever & that's not fair. Dad & Mom have been married for 25 years this December, & Kyle only has 3 weeks under his belt. I guess me being emotional from my pregnancy hormones might be a slight problem as well [I actually threw a pillowcase at him yesterday for buying Japanese Food & not bringing me any ... could have been something ALOT more damaging ... still.]

So, on Friday night, after an argument, we were playing a video game together & I asked him if we could go somewhere the next day. We decided on the Discovery Place in Charlotte. The place in itself is really for kids, but they have an aquarium type deal & scientific stuff to play with, so we had fun with that. Plus, it was only $10 to get in. It's right in downtown Charlotte too, so after we got done looking at everything, we decided to walk around a few blocks. It was really nice weather, & my feet were agreeing with me that day, so it was fun. A friend from church [who's 8 months pregnant with a little girl] sent me some of her Maternity Clothes, & the pants I had on REALLY made me miss my non-pregnant body & my non-pregnant clothes. There's just some days I feel less than pretty or attractive, & it was making me really sensitive that day. I probably cried about three times just thinking about it.

Days Go By

I cannot believe that I'm down to the double digits in waiting days for Baby Bella. I'm in week 25, and she's moving around ALOT. I can see her kicking me, especially after I eat. I think she's a shy little Violet though. I can feel her moving, but as soon as someone else puts their hands on my stomach, or looks at where she's moving, she'll stop. People are going to start thinking I'm a liar, . The church is throwing me a wedding shower next Sunday, so I was trying to make a registry on Walmart.com, but it's hard to think of everything. Plus, Kylie & I are living with my parents, so it's not like we really NEED anything ... although he really wants those Walmart Gift Cards.

He is still talking in his sleep. Now, I keep a notebook in the nightstand and write down what he says, and sometimes I join in the conversation. Last night, I woke up and he was sitting at the bottom of the bed, holding the blanket up in the air like it was on a tray. He looks in my direction and goes, "Could you pick up that other side? I'm going to make a pizza." He's a really strange kid, and still learning about my pregnancy hormones, but so far so good. No ones going to get everything perfect in their 3rd week of marriage. We're learning everyday.

Thursday was my 25 week appointment. My 28th week appointment I'll be taking my glucose test [ew], and then start going to the doctor every 2 weeks. As much as I like my doctor, I don't think I'll be going back to her when I get pregnant again. I don't really feel like they actually listen to me when I tell them I'm sick, or when somethings going on. She'll ask me really quick if I have any questions, and if I don't answer within a nanosecond, she hands me my folder to take to the front. I think it's too late to be switching now, so I'll stick with her until Isabella's born, but then we're moving to someone else, haha.

Rest In Peace ...

Today, My ex-boyfriend
Justin Bath is being buried.

He passed away September 11th in his hospital room that he knew all too well. He had been fighting with Leukemia, and had beaten it twice. A month ago, I saw him on the news where they were asking for donations to help out with his medical bills. He had been attending East Carolina University, studying medicine in hopes to become a dentist in 6 years. He had insurance through them since he was a full time student, but once he started chemo, it became impossible to be in school. So, his insurance canceled on him.

He had received a bone marrow transplant, but from his fiance told me, his body had just become weak from the chemo and he couldn't take it any longer. In no way did he let his cancer win however. Justin was still the smiley boy I always knew, just weaker and paler. I had called him the night I found out he had Cancer, and talked to him online every now and then. I didn't want to upset his family by talking to him too often, although I had hoped with everything going on that they had put the past behind them. I suppose I'll never know.

I received a call the morning after he passed letting me know. I got texts and emails left and right from friends and people who knew I had dated him for a while. It was a weird day, I had cried a little bit that morning and Kyle didn't quite seem to understand why I was so upset. He admitted it almost made him mad to see me cry over an exboyfriend. I explained that I wasn't crying because an exboyfriend of mine had passed away, but because a perfectly normal 20 year old man with a beautiful fiance and a promising future was dead.

When I think about Justin, of course I think about all the fun things he and I did together, but I also remember the skinny, nerdy kid I went to middle school with; The kid with the big buckteeth and aggravating sense of humor that everyone learned to love; the guy that was way too tall for his own good; the friend I had, the guy who took me to prom, the guy who defended me when his mom said horrible things about me ... The man who never lost his smile.

Honeymoon & ER

SO --- The honeymoon started immediately after the wedding. Well, sort of. We went to the bank first & put my name on his account, still in our wedding clothes so everyone was asking what we were so dressed up for It was interesting to say "We just got married ... ", that means I'm someones wife now, haha. So, after the trip to the bank, we stopped to see Gramma. She's not doing too well, her dementia is really taking a bad turn. She's forgetting that her Husband & First Born son died, she thought today that she had just moved in to her house. She's been living there for over 40 years. They're wanting to do surgery on her eyes to remove her cateracts, but I'm a little concerned about that. She's just too old to be undergoing surgery. After we left Gramma's, we stopped to get popcorn chicken [[pregnant womans gotta eat!]] & arrived at the Bed & Breakfast around 4.

Of course --- we stayed in the room pretty much the whole time, but NOT for the reasons you think. [[Not entirely those reasons, anyways ]] Ever since we moved to our new place, it seems that my allergies were acting really bad since we're much farther out in the country, & I do mean PODUNK. My cell phone doesn't even have signal out there. Anyways, I had allergies [[I thought]] & Kylie had a sinus infection, so seriously, we spent alot of time laying in bed watching movies; Big, Titanic, Not Another Teen Movie, Butterfly Effect, Mr. Hollands Opus ... it's really sad, haha. The room was SO gorgeous though, & the owner said we could go exploring the house & property any time we wanted. He gave us a key to the house, so we could come & go as we please. He allowed us use of his kitchen, fridge, his ironing board LOL He was such a nice guy, even made us cookies one afternoon. We did go out to eat our first night, & Kyle picked me up food the second night. Saturday though we went to Concord Mills Mall & bought ONE thing, haha.

We surprised everyone at church by showing up on Sunday Morning. Alot of people seemed mad that they didn't know we were getting married. It's just not something you tell random people, you know? But, Kylie's mom put a thing in the church bulletin about it, so maybe we'll get some moneys! JK. After that, we went & got some of Kyles stuff to bring to the house. Since then, we set up the room, bought a new TV [twice], bought a comforter set, got a new bedframe & bathroom set. There's still things we need to get, but Kylie's mom wants to give us a wedding shower, so I'll make a registry to get some more stuff.

So, you know how I said I had really bad allergies? It was a little bit more than allergies apparently. I started running a fever & getting lightheaded one night & it made Kylie & Mama worried, so he took me to the ER. On the way there, he was so afraid that I would pass out so he was holding my head up & yelling at me everytime my head went down or my eyes closed. I didn't get back into a room until around 2:30 AM, which isn't surprising for that ER but all they did was take my blood pressure, [[which was really low, 109 over 63 I think]], checked Bella's heartbeat [[& the nurse said she sounded like a hyper little thing]] & prescribed me amoxicillan [[which I found out Kyle was allergic to]]. So, after we left, I went to Labor & Delivery to see if my friend had her baby. She did, but I didn't want to bother her. She was 40 weeks & 4 days when she finally got a C-Section, I would have been miserable waiting an extra 4 days! But she came out beautifully, & they're an adorable little family. I had to do a follow up with Dr. Patel two days later, & she fussed at me for still taking my zofran, so I quit, & I have another appointment on the 18th, & the one after that is my glucose test ... eew.

On this original posting, it's around 6:30 AM. I've had horrible allergies since we've moved into the new house & I have a hard time sleeping. Plus, Kyle is in there talking in his sleep, which he does alot I've noticed. Married life is definitely one of those "Work In Progress" learning deals. He used to say stupid stuff on the phone when he was really tired, but now he's waking up & saying things, haha. Maybe he'll tell on himself & I'll learn some deep, dark secret or something. On our honeymoon, he was asking me how to make tea in his sleep. "Is it one cup of sugar or two?" One night, I started rubbing his leg with my toe & he woke up with this horrified look on his face & jumped out of bed. Apparently, he thought my toe was a rat. He kind of freaks me out.

The day before the wedding, which was Wednesday, I had a car accident. It wasn't serious or anything, but I did some damage. Gramma was going to the doctor with all her daughters & since I wanted to go to the Mall to go shopping, I followed them in Mama's car while Mama rode with them. So, my Aunt Judy pulled into a gas station & when I went to pull in to the space next to her, Mama opened her car door & I about took it slam off. I bent it pretty far forward as to where she couldn't shut it afterwards. There's only a small dent in our car. It was just honestly an accident where I don't see fault in anyone for it. The State Trooper didn't give anyone a ticket because we were all related, & our insurance is covering everything. It's created a little bit of a rift between us & Aunt Judy, because she thinks Mama is covering for me, but she's really just wanting money out of it. Our insurance guy said she could sue me if she wanted, which I don't put past her but I'm not really worried about it. I'm more concerned with fixing Kyle's sleeptalking creepiness.

SO Thursday was the big day! I went to my favorite salon around 10 to get my hairstyled & bought breakfast for me and Mama. Unbeknownst to me, it's very strange to get married on a Thursday at 1 o'clock, because all the hairstylists were talking about it. Anywho, I got back to the house & did my makeup, took some pictures & headed to church. I'll picture you through the rest of it ...
