| Are you prepared?I sure wasn't. I considered the idea of buying a jacket for the fall, and then I thought I could get away with wearing only sweaters in the fall. Too bad I didn't think about rain in the fall. Oh and when it rains, you NEED rain boots because we have a 5th season up here: mud season.
And an umbrella would help.
So on top of having the earliest class possible of the day at 8AM, I had psychology right after. Since I didn't not have a fall jacket, rain boots OR an umbrella, I arrived at the lecture hall sopping wet. The lecture hall is air conditioned T_T;
And then I sauntered on over to the psychology lecture where it was not air conditioned, but it was a lot closer to people. Everyone's all wet and everything kind of smells.

| Getting the hang of things Last night made my stay at UVM officially one week, only 10 more weeks until Thanksgiving break! Despite living in the island of all dorms, everyone still managed to flock to this tiny building to party.
And when I say "island," I mean island. See those little green clusters on the map? Those are dorms and there is nothing near mine -_-;

Walking back to Matt's place to get some sleep (his roommate was in the room, you sickos), I came across these two girls who did NOT look like freshmen and they were trying to get back to their dorms on Trinity and UHeights.
....you're kidding me right??
People actually travel from Trinity to party in this building??
Anyways I should get back to my homework for Environmental Studies, Psychology and HLTH. Bah hum bug.
And Manhattan Pizza makes terrible left overs.

| The town that never sleepsI never thought I'd see the day when I'd be walking back to my dorm at 1AM, let alone for a sleep over. Walking with Matt and Cherie, I think we were the only sober group wandering the streets. I feel rather safe, the streets are all lit up, you can see dozens of blue emergency lights along the side walk, but there is still the occasional sketchy person sitting in the dark bench underneath the trees on the University Green.
Anywho, I best be getting to bed. Sleep over with Matt tonight (my room mate is in the room so get your mind out of the gutter), but we'll see how much sleep we all get seeing as how the people upstairs (or perhaps they're right next door, I can't even tell) are blasting rap music while hollering at one another. Ugh. And the running up and down the halls! What the hell are they doing?!
On top of what ever is happening in the building, I think there's something going on outside too. I bet you it's a group of inebriated morons coming back from "getting crunk" down town.

| By jove, I think I've done itEverything's packed and in it's place right now, ready to be thrown into my daddy's truck and traveling 200 miles north. I left out a week's worth of clothes and other essentials, I just need to remember to pack it away before I leave :)
Things I CANNOT forget:
- toothbrush - that box full of stuff on my headboard (hair brush, moisturizer etc.) - band aids - tool kit - the last bit of clothes
