Hey guys! It has been forever since I have been on here.

I am now in Texas. School starts tomorrow. I am excited for it to finally start because right now there is nothing really going on at campus so I don't really do anything til like 9 every night and then I am busy til like 1 or 2 so the nights are really fun, but the days kind of suck right now. That will change soon. Once school starts, I get a job and all of the organizations start up, I don't know if I will have time for everything. I miss everybody in Rockford but am excited about what is going on here.

TCU

For those of you that didn't know, this week, I have been in Fort Worth, TX for Frog Camp. It is something where like 200 freshmen get together and hang out and get to know each other for 3 days at a hotel and around the city. I have had so much fun this week and got to know so many people. I am so excited for August and being able to call this place home. TCU. Now I understand why so many people move to Texas, it truly is awesome. We did everything from have small groups to learn TCU cheers, to line dance, to roller skate, to the zoo, to Mafia, we did so much, it was so cool. I don't want to go home. The only reason I want to go home is see my friends and family. But I am so excited to come back here!! I can't wait.

PS One of the camp conselours looked like Greg Cultra and acted just like him. It was weird.

Crappy Week

That is what this week was, just crappy. I have had so much stuff to do. Graduating is one of the most stressful things I have ever had to do and I haven't even started working on my speech yet. Having to make invitations and contact everybody so I can get addresses. It sucks. And it made me realize some things. Three of the most important people in my life have moved away while I have been in high school.  And you know what else, I never talk to any of them unless they come back into town.  And it angers me. Everybody goes away and says oh I will keep in touch with you and then they never do. And it is fine that they never do, but don't say you will and then won't. And I take blame for part of the problem to in all cases but one. But, I have realized that I am going a thousand miles away in three months. And I am leaving behind so many people that are so important to me. And I don't want to be that guy that doesn't keep in touch. So, to those of you that read this, I vow to keep in touch when I move to Texas.

STATE FINALS!

Harlem Math Team is headed to the state finals at the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana campus.  We leave tomorrow around noon and arrive home Saturday around 7. Wish us luck. On another note... I am sick right now so if you could pray for me that would be awesome. Speaking of prayer, the first weekly Next Gen prayer went amazing! Thanks to all who came and just prayed their guts out for this summer, it was an awesome time just to come together and begin to collaboratively cover the month in prayer. If you couldn't make it, come next week, Monday at 7pm in the Cross Current Amphitheatre.

PS This song is one of my favorite songs. Thanks RMC for singing it.

Tonight was so awesome. Cross Current worship was beyond describable in a good way. Then I went over to JV because Jeff Werkmiester was in town and was speaking. Jeff was my first small group leader ever back when I was in 8th grade. It was so good to see him and just talk for a little bit. I am who I am today thanks in large part to him. He is an awesome guy and it was just awesome to see him. So I had an awesome night.

How was yours?
