| okay after like five minutes searching for the add new web blog, i found it.
this time it isn`t a sermon.
Well, Asian Club is over, it was quite a success.
Dragon Boat is coming up, April 19th.
Then that'll be over.
God is seriously so mysterious.

| More and more, I seem to be losing interest in God and church.
And more stress now is added unto me.
Food program, leading, really I'm becoming more and more tired.
My feet aches, my spirit screams but I choose to ignore it.
For a minute, I was lost and confused.
Fellowship, Asian Club, Dragon all crammed into one day.
I have to skip two on-boat practices to go and lead fellowship.
And I really think these beginning three months of the year is going to be very unpleasant.
But as the little key chain Jane gave me for Christmas said;
'With God all things are possible.'_____________________________
Well, this is the first sermon of the year. I really wished I had listen to more but somehow I found an excuse.
Now leading Haggai, I feel obligated to listen to this one. For the people who are leading should know what they are talking about. Kayy, let's go!

Priorities Part 1(out of 4, I believe.)
Haggai 1
Francis Chan
- God is usually the first thing to be booted out of our priorities.
- Learn to say 'no', so you can say 'yes' to the best things.
- We tend to give leftover time to God.
- Everyone has time to serve God, give money to God, etc.
- Can't fit God and our desires onto our 'plates'.
- Someone to deny himself, and to follow Him.
- Haggai 1:1; 'In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month,
the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubabel son of Shealtiel,
governor of Judah, and to Joshua a son of' Jehozadak, the high priest.'
-In the beginning, all there was was God, I am.
The earth was a thought, what if God never thought of creating an earth.
We are a thought in His head. What if never thought of creating us?
- Genesis 6; Floods the earth except for Noah, who pursues God.
The flood was to destroyed all the rebellion.
Genesis 11; Different tongues and separate religons; don't want to follow God.
Abram changes his name to Abraham(plural). Have him has kids, about 100 years old.
God wants everyone to see Abraham's God to be the real One.
Jacob changes his name to Israel had 12 kids, the 12 tribes. Enslaved by Egypt.
Then God sends Moses to release His people.
After all the plagues, Pharaoh released them.
Then changes his mind and chases them.
Walking through the Red Sea, God drowns the Egyptians in the sea.
Not only they were released, they were promised land.
They sent spies and they reported back;
they said it was beautiful and just like God had said
BUT there's stronger and larger guys over there.
And doubts themselves forgetting how
God was able to slay ever firstborn in Egypt and they think I can't defeat them?
So He causes this generation to die.
After the 40 years, the children who grown up and takes the land.
Israel becomes powerful and requests a king.
God provided them with Saul, he was a terrible king.
So God provided Israel with another, David.
Solomon takes over the kingdom and he builds a temple in Jerusalem.
Then splits in half by the two leaders. And started to sin.
Assyrians come and attack the northern kingdom of the promise land.
The southern were okay, the king was a follower of God.
But soon the kings change, the Babylonians came and takes over the southern part.
After this there was Persians, the king Cyrus allowed the Jews to go back to their land.
- Haggai 1:2; 'This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, '
The time has not yet come for the LORD's house to be built.'
- Haggai 1:3-4; 'Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
"Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your
paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?'
- A bit of sarcasm;
So you have time to make your nice paneled houses as Mine
remained untouched and unbuilt. They are living in luxury.
- Double standard, still happens today;
If it's stuff I want to do, I don't need to hear it from the LORD,
but when it's stuff I don't want to do, I wait for an exact 'calling'.
- Large gap; Creator to created. From God to us.
- Haggai 1:5-11; 'Now this is what the LORD Almighty says;
"Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much,
but your harvested little. You eat, but never enough. You drink,
but never have your fill. You put on clothes,
but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a
purse with holes in it." This is what the LORD Almighty says;
"Give careful thought to your ways.
Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house,
so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored." says the LORD.
"You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little.
What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty.
"Because of My house, which remains a ruin,
while each of you is busy with his own house.
Therefore, because of you the heavens have
withheld their dew and the earth its crops.
I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains,
on the grain, the new wine, the oil, and
whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle,
and on the labor of your hands."
- Expected everything to be according to our plan but we can't.
God is the only way to have fulfillment.
- When we reach an earthly goal and we reached it.
We're never be satisfied. Cause we prioritized ourself before God.
- Supposed each one of us are in a car,
and along the road of life; we hear about Jesus.
We say we need Him and how He is our Lord and Savior.
So we say 'Hey Jesus, get in the trunk.'
So that we can go to Him only in our needs.
We call Him 'Master' but what we really want is a slave.
Some of us say, get in the passenger seat. We can talk,
You can help me with some things. But I''m still in control.
But what we should really do is that let God take the wheel.
He will guide us to stuff we never imagined doing.
- Haggai shows this; the people did what they want to do,
but God is really in control.
- Whether you want to or not, the control is still God's.
- Haggai 1:12-13; 'Then Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel,
Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and
the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice
of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai,
because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.
Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people:
"I am with you." declares the LORD.
So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah,
arid the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak the high priest,
and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people.
They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty,
their God, on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month
in the second year of King Darius."
- They obeyed because they feared the LORD.
They didn't say okay. They did something, and went up to the mountains.
- God is honored by action.
- Godly sorrow leads to repentance.
- When the people go and began their work,
God responds with "I am with you." The I am, Creator, is with you.
- Matthew 28: 18; "...Though I am with you, always."
- Strive for what He wants, strive for obedience towards Him,
and strive for Him to be the Master of your life.

- Sitting with 10mil angels and begins to separate them(goats and lambs).
- Said to right - ‘Come take your inheritance.’
- Verse 35 :’ I was hungry, you fed me. I was thirsty, you gave me water. ‘
- ‘When?’ - ‘I’ll tell you the truth, if you did one of these things to your brothers, you have done to Me.’
- Every time we provide to the needy, we provide for Jesus.
- Everyone is guilty.
- Salvation is in faith alone.
- True faith will manifest itself to actions.
- Verse 41 - ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
- Them to go into eternal fire & the righteous gets eternal life.
- Imagine everyone who are hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, & in prison, as Jesus.
- ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

“Oh, one hour with God exceeds all desires of this world.”
- Prayer is our expression of love to God.
- Acts; Pentecost (10 days of straight praying.) Different tongues. Result of prayer.
- Acts 2 : 42
- Gathered together daily, selling possessions,
- When something tragic happens, who do you call first?
-You call that person cause you love them.
- James 5
- Pray; get others too.
- God should not be our last resort but our first.
- Confession of sin, then pray.
- The oil is symbolic because God heals them not the medience.
- Doctrine where someone who lack faith/sins would be sick. But sometimes it is also cause it's sin.
- 2 Timothy 2 : 4
- Left Trophimus to take Paul's place; he was a saint.
- Phillipains 2 : 25
- Galatains 4 : 13
-Disiciple His people. (Sickness&could be a test(like Job)).
- First thing we should do is to confess.
- Pray for each other.

- Powerful prayer(?)
- They needed $10,000 for a project for God and next morning he recieved $10,000 in check from someone
- His wife wants to sing, the female leader is sick (and 10minutes left and felt fine) and she can sing.
- Prayed for surprise.
- Prayer of a righteous man can be effective.
- Verse 17
- 'Elijah was a man just like us.'
- He prayed&God lighted the alter.
- About average men and their prayer.
- Fasting, the hunger pains are to pray.
- Pray, pray, and pray and sit back watch God set everything.

- 'Therefore brothers, since we have confindence to enter the most holy place by blood of Christ Jesus.'
- We can speak freely to the Creator of the world.
- Enter the most HOLY place by the BLOOD of JESUS.
