| I decided to update my Xanga since its been like, forever. This weekend was a blast! Jessi and I couldn't think of anything to do here in Norman on Saturday night, so we just randomly decided to drive up to Stillwater and visit Kayla, so we did. It was suuuuuch a blast. I came out of the trip with a broken camera and a huge cut on my knee, but its okay, cause we had so much fun...and I got a new camera, and wounds heal. We went to like 5 different parties, and Jessi and I were lingerie models...turned hooker...Kayla was Ashlee Simpson, and Melanie was Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson).

So, there's us...we're so cute. Anyway, we ran into some interesting costumes, and people while we were there. We ran into one of Sam's ex-boyfriends from high school, which was weird, especially because he was dressed as a woman.
that's okay though, who am I to judge, right? As we progressed onward to other parties, we ran into another guy dressed as a woman, he was a french maid...he was an OSU baseball player, I felt it was necessary to take a picture with him.
Man, what a stud. The party scene up at OSU is soooo much different than at OU. I guess its cause all the farm people go to OSU or something, but they're so much more laid back and like, people don't get dressed up to go to parties, and everyone isn't all rich and done up and whatever...I felt really overdressed. But I guess its better to be overdressed than underdressed. Anyway, so the last party we were at, my camera got dropped and broken by Kayla's friend Preston. Poor lil drunk boy felt so bad...I couldn't get mad at him cause he was so darn cute.
So, that was sad about my camera...that's the culprit there on the right, I have no idea who that guy on the left is, but he showed up in alot of our pictures randomly...lol. Kayla took Jessi and I to the famous Eskimo Joe's, "Stillwater's jumpin little juke joint"...everyone has those dern t-shirts and I really wanted to see what all the hype was about, so we went there for lunch. It was SO FREAKING GOOD. I'm so glad we went. Anyway, we had a great time with Kayla up at OSU.
Last night we celebrated Halloween again on the real Halloween night here in Norman, and went to Javier's party. We went with the same costumes, but instead, we were John Pon's ho's, and he was our pimp.
And of course, Nick was our cow.
Anyway, that's all I have to say really, I'm gonna go work out.

| I just want to say, the east coast and the south are SO much better looking than the west coast. After my trip this weekend to Los Angeles, I realized this. All of the other times I've been to the west coast, I guess I wasn't people watching enough or SOMETHING, but being in California this weekend made me very happy that I go to OU and not UCLA. I saw ONE hot guy, and not very many other good looking ones, and just a bunch of weird looking guys all around wearing UCLA shirts, I was very disappointed. Not only were the guys not that good looking, but neither were the girls. God bless OU. I was at the Huffman working out today as usual, and I was downstairs in the weight room and I saw the most beautiful guy I've ever seen in my life. I even caught him looking at me once...lol. I sound like such a nerd, but I feel eye candy deprived after 2 days in california. Anyway, this guy had really nice biceps and a BEAUTIFUL face, oh he was so pretty. He made my workout so much more enjoyable. Anyway, I just had to throw that out there, while California as a state is beautiful, its people are not quite as much.
Aside from the lack of pretty people in California and a not so good game, I had a GREAT time visiting. The plane ride was fun...
I ended up sleeping through most of it...something about airplanes makes me sleepy. Anyway, at about 2:45pm West Coast time, we arrived at the Sheraton Universal City hotel
And it was great, because its RIGHT next to Universal Studios which is way cool. We got into our rooms, and the second we set down our stuff we decided to make the most of our time in California and go to Rodeo Drive. Our cab driver was dumb and got lost trying to take us there...so we got to take a scenic tour of Beverly Hills. I even saw a real live paparazzi guy on Rodeo Drive, deep in the heart of Beverly Hills.
And there he is. We also drove by the famous Beverly Hills Hotel...
It was beautiful. I knew our cabbie was lost, because there is no reason to drive through the neighborhoods of Beverly Hills to get to Rodeo Drive. There's just not. But I was glad to get to see all of the pretty houses. about 5 hours and $300 later, we left Rodeo Drive...and I left with a new pretty shirt, a $46 Lacoste Polo (GREAT deal), and a b-e-a-utiful red dress from Bebe. We had some good coffee at Starbucks and took a much shorter cab drive back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel, we (we being me Jessi and Lindsay) changed into our new threads and headed out for a night on the town with the boys. We met up with them at the Universal Studios City Walk at Hard Rock Cafe. The City Walk was really cool.
The City Walk looked alot like Las Vegas. I went here when I came to California for the Rose Bowl Parade when I was a freshman in high school, but I really didn't remember it being that cool. I also didn't have my eyes set on the bars and such either. We had a spectacular meal at Hard Rock, our waitress didn't ID us, which is always a plus...so we had drinks. I decided that my new favorite drink is a Purple Haze. It was goooood.
So there's me and Morgan enjoying our meal...
My hot ladies and I enjoying our drinks on the balcony. After touring the City Walk, we went back to the hotel fairly early because we were all tired since we were still on Oklahoma time...But when we got back to the hotel, of course there were after parties, so we headed to those and hung out with the crew. Someone came up with the good idea to go up to the roof garden on the top floor of the hotel where there was this huge banquet room. We partied up there, and found like 5 coronas! Oh man it totally made my night. Lol.
Man, we had to be like the best looking room on the trip. I love my girls. Anyway, at some point I passed out and started talking in my sleep (according to Jessi and Lindsay). I of course do not remember...but that's besides the point. The next morning came way too soon, and it was time to head to the Rose Bowl for the football game against UCLA. We're not going to talk about the game, but isn't the Rose Bowl a pretty stadium?
Yeah, I think its pretty. After the game we took showers at Pasadena City College, I was hoping to see Chris, the sell-out that transferred from OU back to California (I mean that with the most love), but he had to work, so I guess next time I go to California we'll hang out. We got on the plane, and I fell asleep fairly quickly...and next thing I knew everyone was getting off of the plane. So all in all, I had a great time in California...although it was so short.
Now that I'm back in Oklahoma (with my good looking boys), I have 2 tests and 2 quizzes next week...so its back to the grindstone again. *sigh* It's gonna be a long week.
Time to study now...

| Ok, so I've had definitely one of those weeks where I just feel like shit. Like, completely worthless really, and let me tell you, it sucks. Its just been one thing after the other, and I was wondering if I was doomed to an eternity of malfunctions in my life. Well, since I've had such a bad week, I've been working out ALOT...cause that's what I do, and on my way to the Huff today I saw some guys on the field outside of the Huff playing lacrosse, and I thought man...I wish there were girls out there playing, I really miss lax alot. So, I walk on the sidewalk about to go into the Huff and I see a group of about 10 girls walking the opposite direction on the sidewalk carrying lacrosse sticks, and I freaked out. So I had to know if they were playing...so I asked them, and they told me that they were starting an OU lacrosse club. MAN was I stoked. I told them that I played all through high school and they got excited cause there weren't very many experienced girls out there, and they asked me to come along. Of course I did. It was the best thing ever, I'm so excited to do this. I really hope it all works out, cause I miss playing lacrosse sooo much and to be a part of the team would rock my world. As soon as I got home I told Jessi about it, and called my mom to let her know that FINALLY things were looking up for me. My mom and I had a really good conversation, I miss her alot.
After today, I'm trying to be more positive and be less hard on myself when things don't go my way. I have a hard time dealing with the fact that sometimes it's really not me, its "them". I really am thankful for "them" though, because all of the people throughout my life that have put me through alot of shit (you know who you are, and I know you're reading this) really inspire me to do better. Maybe my negativity towards myself is not the best thing to do, but in the end, I turn my negativity into positivity and better myself. It also makes me realize my blessings and all of the people who do love me. Maybe some people don't like me...but their dislike for me has nothing on the love that I receive from my friends and family. So thanks to all of you who have backstabbed me, been rude to me, spread rumors about me, talked behind my back, or just not taken the time to get to know me and decide that you don't like me before even speaking a word to me. You're the ones who inspire me to become a better person. And to my friends and family...I LOVE YOU! You're wonderful.
That's all the inspirational chatter I have to say today. I'm going to go read my book now.

| Ok so its been so long since I've updated my Xanga, now they made this little update page look like Microsoft Word. Now you can change the colors of stuff...And the font, And you can highlight things...how fun.
Anyway...So, this week has just been stressful. It kindof sucks. I've just had so much on my mind, its been kindof hard. One thing I would like to say though, I HATE hipocrisity, and I also do not like it at all when people act like they know you and they DO NOT. It really bothers me that people actually listen to "rumors" that they hear about people and use it against them when in all actuality they don't even know you. They know your name and your face, and that's about it. They block out the hundreds of good things about you, and focus on your "flaws". I really can't stand that. Grr. I'm just frustrated. I guess all I had to do was vent. That's all I have to say. I'm sure some of you reading this are the people who think you know me...you MUST know me cause you read my Xanga. That's really all.

| I'm sorry, but I have to start this post sadly, cause today would have been one of my good lifelong friends' birthday, Whitney Rich. Like seriously, you never really think that one of your real friends is going to die...Especially not the first friend you made when you moved to Texas, we used to make cars out of boxes and stuff. She was always 2 houses down...I miss you dude.
Sorry...that was sad...but I had to.
Anyway...I'm gonna talk about happier things now.
Okay, Things are good in Norman. I love our new apartment, Jessi and I got a guinea pig and we named her Godiva...she's so cute. Diva for short. Morgan's birthday was yesterday, and we had a celebration bitches. Morgan and Godiva...prescious. Kyle and Morgan, good times
Me and bday boy The girls and Morg
 Happy b-day Morgie!!
So yeah, good times. I'm so happy cause all of us are going to UCLA for the game in 3 weeks!!! Free freakin trip to Pasedena, hell yeah.
