Recently, I read all my old posts. And I realized how...immature I used to be! So I've decided "out with the old, in with the new". NOW, this blog we'll be dedicated to my one true love...Fashion!

My first post is insprired by my favorite back-to-school movie, You've Got Mail. Meg Ryan as Kathleen Kelly is the ultimate in shabby chic. Sure, her clothes aren't glamorous or necessarily "fashionable", but they're definitely perfect for a laid back day!

How to: Kathleen is all about comfort, so to capture her look use cardigans, soft colors and neutrals, wide-leg slacks, and flowing skirts. Like this:

Put your own take on it and add some trendy jewelry:

Classy, without being over-trendy. It's probably more suitable for church, but some can pull it off at school, like I did:
