| old habit...long time no seeeeee again
i finally got a break in the workload from school this week, so i decided to spend a little time online...and guess what i did? i got back into the habit of taking quizzes :3
hurraaaaaay!
old habits die hard, huh?
anyway, here's one for your viewing pleasure...although none of my subscribers probably look anymore XD
Stability results were moderately high which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.
Orderliness results were moderately low which suggests you are, at times, overly flexible, improvised, and fun seeking at the expense of reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment.
Extraversion results were low which suggests you are very reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.
trait snapshot: secretive, reclusive, messy, disorganized, introverted, unassertive, rarely worries, dislikes large parties, does not like to fit in, does not need to control others, solitary, ambivalent about chaos, tough, leisurely, does not respect authority, not aggressive, observer, abstract, impractical, dislikes leadership, daydreamer, bizarre, does not make friends easily, not a perfectionist, suspicious, rarely irritated, strong physical instincts, unsympathetic at times, risk taker, submissive, weird, sarcastic, strange
| N*gger Wetb*ck Ch*nk (NWC)I'm sorry for those of you that this might offend. However, it has to be said. N*gger Wetb*ck Ch*nk (NWC) NWC is a group that went around and put on a show for the public eyes, but is now closed and open solely for colleges across the nation. Saturday night, they came and performed for our school. Not a single person left there without saying how powerful it was or how great it was. Mixing comedy in with the issue of race, they bring up a major point - there is really only one race: the Human...Race...Even though they had our entire theater (filled beyond capacity) laughing our asses off for a good length of the play, there were moments where the entire house was silent. It really, really, made you think. Heck, I was near tears a few times, half from laughing too hard, and half from seeing what some people are put through. They took stereotypes, and stared them down. The three actors use experiences that they went through to show how being "non-white" can have a huge impact on a person while they grow up in America, the "land of the free." Just...how free are we, really? How free is anybody? How can somebody overcome these things to find out just who they are? How much do these words affect people when they're said? Should it make a difference what color skin you have? Or how you got here? Or what about your traditions and customs? Shouldn't it be enough that...even with all of these differences...there are so many more similarities between everyone? That we're all here for freedom? If NWC comes to your college - go. You definitely should not miss this for the world. If you do, well...then you're missing out on something that could have a very strong impact on you. However, if you're going to be rude about them, or think that they shouldn't be doing this...I really don't know what to tell you. Please do not disrespect them, because they are awesom guys, and they're not trying to use the terms in a derogatory sense. Listen to their message before you judge them. Previews: DO NOT watch these if you can't laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLESDleDgXY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoQ8NJZ_WcQ Review/Interview: http://www.citybeat.com/2006-03-29/onstage.shtml The major thing you learn from it - the Human Race transcends the "Cock"asians, "Niggers", "Wetbacks" and "Chinks" alike. And I'll be damned if I ever say those words again unless it's in a conversation about this issue. | | |
| So...I have this one friend who insists on arguing that God is female. Although I'd love to agree with her, there are some facts that clash with that idea. Reasons God could be female: She has a brain. She created Bush and Osama for kicks. She made men do all the work
Reasons God is a male: The brain is the size of a peanut. He created Bush and Osama for kicks. He made men easy to please because he knew what he liked, but females were a challenge even for Him (seriously, who in their right mind would be able to understand us?). He made Clay Aiken sing in place of him: "If I was invisible Then I could just watch you in your room... I would be the smartest man If I was invisible (Wait..I already am)" --This proves he's a dirty old man. I wouldn't be surprised
| Tomorrow, my 8am Color Systems class is heading over to the zoo. Tomorrow's lesson: camouflage, warning and display, and color symbolism. My teacher's ending statement: "And, well, since animals will most likely get in the way while you're recreating the colors of the scenery in your sketchbook, you can always take a picture and have it for reference later. You can do this with the animals, too, since most of them will try to blend in with the surroundings. You know, just in case." | | |
