| LAZY CRAZY HAZY DAYS ARE HERE AGAINwell. it's offiially summer. it still doesn't feel like summer. let's lament about what has happened in the past year:
-JUNIOR YEAR
started off fine, new boyfriend, new classes. classes got harder, relationship got weaker. and when i saaw relationship, i mean relationships. a lot of people i was close with in sopho year was weakening, due to several factors. i know you all know what i mean. different classes, different sets of people. different life styles and different view points all add up to a final relationship that dims down until it's barely there, and the two of you are just civilly talking to each other rather than the intimate relationship you shared before. that kind of stuff. in fact, a lot of that kind of stuff. but, as life goes on so must the person and thus i made new friends, created stronger relationships with others, and learned to deal with the prosperity that was handed ot me. and so, after winter break my boyfriend and i realized our relationship was going nowhere. then first semester finals came and i turned 17. that was quite a shock, as well as for a new boyfriend. but this relationship soon discovered the pit falls, and i decided i could not take it anymore. it ended only after a month. i worked hard and focused more on dragonboat, perhaps a bit too much. for when the elections came and i was running for president, joel suprisingly ran against me and he won. i wasn't expecting that. and that was a shock to me more than perhaps anything. but not so much now. i can see he had to do it. in a sense that i'm not going ot explain here because it would take too long. but yes, then ap tests and those were quite a doozy. but i got through them and looked forward to the joys of great america and less homework. but i am also often wrong and so the final month of pressure and homework set in. projects upon projects, all due within the same week were set and i was forced to go through it all. the year finally ended with finals over, projects handed in, and a new boyfriend. -TEACHERS
i don't know if it's because i'm getting older or what, but it seems that i can get more and more comfortable with teachers every year. perhaps they get more friendlier when you get older, or you're just not as intimidated by them anymore. but i absolutely loved this year in terms of teachers. ms. barrett was awesome as always. it's no lie that i love her. i miss her this summer cuz there's no one to talk to about stuff. whether it be about personal stuff, good movies, that she's extremely not organized, or that i want her to get an entire new wardrobe, i'll miss it until i go back to school next year. mr. chinn was completely awesome. i miss what he said during our final. we were asking him if we could leave because we weren't doing anything, but he said he was afraid we would be hit by a bus. and "to prove his point" he was going to buy a nerf bus so he could hit us (but it wouldn't hurt too much). mr. page was quite moody towards the end of the year. i'll always remember in the middle, for he always made fun ofthe fact that he put me next to angie in the first grading period, and we became fast friends. we would talk across the room every day and he absolutely hated it. but it was fun. mr. o'connor was the easiest for he would complain how lazy we are and then tell us the exact questions that were on his test. hahahahahaha..... -SUMMER
so this summer i am interning part time at BAY AREA POSITIVES which is a center for youths who have HIV/AIDS. (spread the word not the disease!) that place is so incredibly awesome. so far i've made cupcakes and cookies, and also redid their myspace page. it's pretty cool. i'm also going to work at HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND too. i worked there last year. completely different setting. plus, i'm taking SAT prep classes on thurs, fri, and sun. yippee. traveling to D.C. and MA to see some colleges and monuments, as well as my grandma who hasn't been doing to well. going to long beach too at the end of july. plus, homework for ap calc, ap english, and summer reading. so i'm quite busy. LOOK OUT SUMMER. HERE I COME! |
