Happy Holidays everyone!

I hope everyone's enjoying their week off - I know I most certainly am. Friday afterschool was the annual Christmas get together of the girls where we all went to Jessie's and opened presents and got in the Christmas spirit. Saturday (Christmas Eve) was relaxing since I stayed home for most of the morning and baked a flan and cream puffs (all by myself!) Saturday night we went down to Springfield to spend Christmas Eve with the grandparents and aunt and uncle. We ended up eating an entire 10 course meal then watched Elf while opening some presents. We left Springfield and came home because Dad was oncall Sunday morning. I woke up Christmas morning in the best mood ever just because it was Christmas. I ate breakfast with the family then went out to see The Family Stone - definitely a chick flick movie and incredibly predictable - but cute all the same. After, we came home and I took a long nap before waking up and watching 2 hours of family movies before dinner. After dinner we continued to watch more home videos before watching 2 straight episodes of intense CSI. Despues, I went to bed and woke up early this morning. I got up early and we left the house before 8 to go to Burlington mall for some intense post-Christmas shopping. I met up w/ Wesley around 10:30 and did more shopping until I had to leave around 1. I came home just in time to head out to the boys' hockey game in canton w/ marji, so we showed up after the 2nd period and watched Dan skate w/ both grace and skill and Sean body check kids left and right. It was overall an incredibly amusing time. Westwood has the best fans. Tonight I plan to...pack? Yeah, probably not. Oh well. I hope everyone else is having an amazing and relaxing vacation and I wish all of you (if I don't talk to you before then) a Happy New Year!

This is going to be an intense week. College acceptance/ deferral/ rejection letters are coming back from early schools - dun dun dun. SUCKS.

This weekend was a lot of fun though. Saturday night was the ACAS Christmas Party - pictures will be up on webshots ASAP.

Good luck to all my seniors - let me know when you all hear!

SOME OF MY HILARIOUS B-DAY CARDS:

What Is a Grandpa Liz Chen?

A Grandpa Liz Chen is
A remarkable man girl...
SHe’s a combination
Of warmth and kindness,
Care and concern,
Laughter and love.
SHe will overlook our faults,
Encourage our dreams
And praise our smallest triumphs…
A Grandpa Liz Chen has
The wisdom of a teacher,
The sincerity of a true friend
And the devotion of a father.
A Grandpa Liz Chen is more than just family classmate
SHe is someone we admire, respect,
And love very much,
Someone we want every happiness for…
Because she deserves it!

A Grandpa Liz Chen is all the dear things you are!

Happy Birthday with Love

-TJ (They were all out of other cards.)

Dear Liz!

Since you play tennis, and love leisure sports and exhibit a passion for hunting we thought we'd get you something that encompasses all of your interests!

It's your birthday.
Eat the bread.

Finally you can eat bread! Yummy! Hooray!

Your friends,
Sean & Mike

Party till the cow comes home.

Hey Lizzie! Your present is "moo goes the hunnybutt" themed (mostly) as I know you'll appreciate. You were one of my first friends in Westwood and have also proven to be one of the best...enjoy 17.

Love, Tara

[Picture of a walnut] Happy Birthday!
[Picture of a peanut] Ha-cha-cha!

Happy Birthday from one nut to another.

Love,
Joey D.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZZIE!

Liz, I'm sorry Lily killed your card! I'm sure she says Happy B-day <3!

<3 You!
<3 Zeina

I LOVE ALL MY FRIENDS SO MUCH. THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING AND MAKING TODAY ABSOLUTELY AMAZING .

I still can't believe I'm a SENIOR. Nope. Can't get used to that idea.Yesterday I had people over to decorate cars - oh goodness. We parked 5 cars up here (mine, Court's, Katie's, Alex's and Joey's) then decorated them all w/ SENIORS 2006 and paw prints and WHS amd "Got Seniors?" Good times. I managed to climb Court's Jeep to get a picture of her and me sitting on top of her already decorated car. Then I had people over for a BBQ to celebrate the fact that we're the big kids now - what an odd idea! Everyone left @ a decent hour so I was in bed by 10 after I packaged remaining senior tee shirts in ziplock bags and put them all in my car.

This morning I promptly awoke to my alarm clock at 5:50 and chose to ignore it. At 6, Sarah's alarm went off so I had to get up and wake her up. I was showered and breakfasted @ 6:30 and proceeded to watch Sesame Street until 6:50 when Sarah and I piled into my extremely well-decorated car to proceed to the one and only Westwood High School. I pulled into the high school parking lot at around 7:05 and brought everything in w/ the help of Sean and De. NHS was a blast this morning and everyone was in their green shirt I was so excited. We really did look like SENIORS.

Classes were great (as great as they can be) and it was great seeing everyone again. Lunch was a perfect time to catch up as we sat outside in the cafe setting (haha, I laugh).  Then off to free (yay), Lit (yay for Kulick), Spanish (Doyle!), Calc (yeah Mao), and Physics (w/ the juniors!).

Afterschool I came home, ate, did some work, then went back to school for Academic Decathlon. (Thaaanks Luke ). After, I proceeded to come home and washed my car of any remnants of senior school spirit (sadly - but Sarah made me) then did some more work. Overall, today was an amazing day and it's just the beginning. SENIORS 2006 baby :0).
