| o well. . .The next semester is about to start and I remembered my Xanga password and now I am back for a minute. Christmas break has been too short, so short that I took yesterday off work and became sick today to stay home with my amazing, sickly bride. It seems like the Joneses'es' are always ill, at least until about the middle of april or so when it gets hot. Church has been good, up and down and we are learning so much about ministry and life and worship. Sometimes we still want to pack up and move but we can see the light at the end of this very long tunnel. Some days it seems like May of 09 will never get here, though I have a threat of not finishing until De ember of 09. I am now working towards my MA in Worship, I like it better than MM and the threat of PhD is not lerking in my future since I am achieving a terminal degree. With all the schooling I am really just getting some credentials, all the education is coming from the hands on work at Church. My only fear is that when I start working at a new church I will have a secretary that cannot compare to the one I have now, if you haven't met her, she is amazing. The goals I have for this year. . in order are. Pay off my furniture By a Mac Produce my CD Open my website Get out of debt!!! (should be first, but. . o well. . . ) Some of these things may seem out of order but understand that. . . well, I know what I am doing. Cory and Sharon have been the most amazing friends. This year we are planning on meeting with them an hour weekly just to pray about everything and anything. We started New Years Eve (before they went to the ER) and will go again tonight. It is great to have friends outside of Seminary and outside of Church. The past couple of weeks I have been working out with my trainer John, he is about 40 and is a full time Navy Seal, he trains me on Saturdays. I have a 12 month contract with him, so hopefully by graduation I could be a Seal, or at least look like one. I don't always have much to say, or care to say, but I'll try to get on more that 2x a year. when something really neato happens, I will let you know. Also, I have a new cell phone, same number, but I lost lots of numbers. text me your name so I have it. 682-553-8922. thanks! | | |
| Who is Sue? Is it okay to sue?Last Wednesday I was at LA Fitness and I was working out on a macine and the pin broke and the arm of the macine fell right on my noggin. I mean it sliced me a little new butt crack on the top of me forehead. I bled quite a bit. Cory and Sharon came and picked me up, took me to my wife and followed us to the hospital. I will not be sueing them! Well long story short. . . 6 stitches, $400 perscription, another ER Visit on Friday, CAT Scan, more perscriptions, my ear rocks are jumbled and I have vertigo. I have to go to an ENT now. and I missed 2 days of work. and I am stilly dizzy. The employees couldn't find a first aid kit for like five minutes, and then none of them knew first aid. So I left a puddle of blood on their counter. And floor, and bathroom, and all over the macine. If they don't cover my medical costs should I sue? I would at least like a lifetime membership to the gym or something substantial like a Mercedes or a Motorcycle. . . I think I'll get the medical bills paid for for sure but would it be ethical to get a lawyer and demand more for my suffering and such? Honestly, what would you do in this situation. Any lawyers out there?
Before and after, it probably is not near as gruesome as I hoped it would be. | | |
| TagIf you are tagged, here are the rules: People who are tagged need to list 7 random facts/habits about themselves on their own blog. (Remember to post the rules, also.) Then, choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they have been tagged. Am I suppost to Re-Tag if I've already been tagged once? 1. I have a constant paranoya that my fly is down and I continuoustly check it. 2. I have not practiced saxophone since November of 05. I have played it many times though. 3. I want to learn guitar, but only know about 3 1/2 chords. Can anyone reccomend a good learning book for someone who already knows about music? 4. Aaron Copelands 'Rodeo' is playing in the background. 5. I have an uncanny passion for sausage. Yes every kind! 6. It is ok to take 8oo miligrams of ibuprophen (4 pills), but not asprin or tylenol. 7. I went camping this weekend with my beautiful wife to celebrate 365 wonderful days of marriage and I have mosquito/chigger bites on my _____! I tag the top 7 people on my friends list. | | |
