The Youth Retreat

This is the entrance to the camp we went to this past weekend for the youth retreat. It was a wonderful day of devotions and fellowship with all the youth from the church.

The first area the kids headed was for the pools.

We took a break for a while to enjoy some of the other areas of the camp. They usually offer horseback riding but the horses were not feeling well, so we missed out on that activity for the day. We still had lots of fun though.

   As our trip is coming towards the end I thought I would include a post with a variety of fun pictures from our time here.

Playing in the rain

     It is very hot in Venezuela so when we have a summer storm sometimes we use it as an opportunity for a little fun. Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying an opportunity to "play in the rain"

Working with Liseth´s Cell Group

     This Saturday evening we worked with another cell group. This group is led by Liseth, a productive member from Salvation Baptist.

We opened our time together by singing praise songs!

Liseth, Adriana, Luke and Hope lead in the singing.

     We have really enjoyed sharing with this group. The number of children that attend grow each week. We are so happy to see them eager to learn more about God. We look forward to our time with them each week.

Hair Cuts at Cell Group

     This past Saturday I gave hair cuts to the children from the cell group who needed one. Below are some of the before and after pictures of my "customers"
