Whats new?

Hello all!! In case you havent realized by now, I am really bad about updating my Xanga Life is fun down here in Lexington. I have been busy with workin at the office. I actually just got a second job to help kill some hours. I am training to be a host at Texas Roadhouse. My first night was last night and I got thrown in to taking people to their tables, making nice with the customers and rolling silverwear. I was a little nervous about remembering the table numbers, but once i got into it I did ok. My second night is tonight and I hope I learn how to run food and drinks, cause thats what I gotta do all night tomorrow. Should be exciting!!! Just hope I dont spill food on anyone!

One of these days Im gonna have people come visit for a movie and game night. I know it's a long drive for you Cincinnati folk, but you are welcome to stay for a night if ya need to. I dont have a lot of room in my apartment but we can make it work!!

Hope you all are doing well. I miss everyone! Hopefully I'll get home for a weekend soon (like Thanksgiving) but I gotta get my car fixed. It is not happy now. It makes funny noises and wont start. If you know a friendly mchanic let me know

Hello friends!! It has been a hot minute since I have posted on my Zanga...I am sorry. A lot has been going on here. I got back from tour and moved into a tiny apartment in Lexington. Once I get it cleaned up I will invite ya'll to come visit. Me and Lori went on a cruise to the Bahamas a few weeks ago. It was great. I don't think I will vacation any other way. Every now and then I will get the feeling that I am still on the boat...the room will spin for a couple counts. Things are slow in Lexington. Pretty much work and go home. I gotta find some friends around here...or an evening job to keep me occupied.

In other news, the Bengals are stinking it up. That is sad. It is brutal to watch! Hopefully they will be able to turn it around. I have faith!!

Totally random post, I know. But I just watched 10 Things I Hate About You. What a great movie. I discovered that I am a really big fan of Larisa Oleynik and Julia Stiles. In my life movie, Julia Stiles would play me. Great actess, and super cute. But what ever happened to Larisa Oleynik? She was in The Secret Word Of Alex Mac on Nickelodeon, (which I loved!) and this movie, but haven't really seen anything from her since then

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I suck. But a lot has been going on. I have made the decision that I am going back to school. Crazy, huh? I am hoping that Northern will accept me into their Nursing program...even crazier, right? I have come to the realization that I don't want to be a bank teller for the rest of my life. I know nursing is a big change, but I am really excited about it. Just hope all works out according to my plan! So wish me luck!

On another note, I have no idea who would play me in the movie about my life. I'm not sure who could pull off my grace and charm!

Oh yeah...I got a library card this week. I am uber excited! I know, I am 25...I should all ready have a library card, right? Well, I am the type of person who goes to a book store and buys a book if I want to read it. Expensive, yes, but I can read it whenever I want. So back off!!

James, let me know when you want to have a Wrestlemania marathon! I am psyched!

Bad news bears

Ok, so ya'll know that snow we had Thursday morning? You know, the light dusting? Well, I think I managed to find the only road that had ice on it on my way to work. My little car just couldn't handle it, and I had my first ever accident. I slid into the back of an SUV. The lady was really nice...probly cause nothing happened to her car. Mine though, $2400 in damages. So I am car-less right now, and I'm not sure how long it will be at the body shop. I have to depend on my good looks to get my around town. Me and Lori were gonna go to Cleveland on Sunday to visit the house from A Christmas Story. However, no car and having to come up with a $500 deductible means no road trip to go see Ralphie. Ho-hum. In my dispair I have decided to start an affair with two men...Ben and Jerry. They know how to make my troubles go away

On a happy note, Thursday night I saw the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at US Bank Arena. It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. If you ever get the chance to see them, don't pass it up. Lights, smoke, lasers, rock and orchestra all combined. A+ in my book! At least the day finished on a good note (pun intended!)

Ok, I hate to admit this, but I agree with Nick. 94.9 is a pretty hip station. Every time I get in my car there is a Beastie Boys song playing. Any station that can aprreciate the musicality and artistic genius that is the Beastie Boys is ok with me. So kudos to you, The Sound. I tip my hat. Nick, you are a gentleman and a scholar!

You sickos...I was talking about burping Gwen, which I reluctantly learned how to do today. I got to feed her, which meant I got to burp her. I was nervous to pat her too hard, so Jeremy ended up having to do it Gwen can burp just like her daddy...whom I may or may not have made out with today.

Ok...sorry for the randomness. I had a pretty good weekend...did absolutely nothing Friday night, which was nice. Did some laundry on Saturday and went to a wedding. Before the ceremony started the electricity went out at the church. This could have been a problem, however, several candles were lit and it actually ended up being a pretty romantic ceremony. I went to a new sunday school class this morning at church. Its (I almost put it's but Lori taught me some grammer today) for young adults, and the series seems pretty cool. I'll keep ya posted. Had Chipotle for lunch for free (courtesy of Todd...or Ted?) then went to the Hill's for the Bengals game (the game made me want to puke). We didn't mean to stay so late but we got caught up in VH1's top 100 songs from the 80s. Lots of great moments there.

My weekends have been truely great lately. Last week it was Cyclone's game, 80's party and Cyber Sunday (boo K Fed!)...this weekend weddings and burping babies, and next weekend I get to go to Oklahoma. (and I just had to sing the song in my head to figure out how to spell Oklahoma) The only thing that could make my weekends better would be if I could finish it off with a swim in Uncle Scrooge's money bin!
