alright already!the reason i don't get to post very often anymore is that i am a lot busier at work lately, and once i get home i don't really feel like getting on the computer again! so there ya go. that's my excuse. but since james requested a post, i guess i will oblige him. i wouldn't want him getting his mustache in a twist over it. so, last friday i decided at the last minute to drive down to lexington after work to see loni. it had been two weeks since we'd seen each other, which isn't really a long time, but we used to live together and do everything together and now she's far away and i missed her ok. so get off my back! well we stayed up all night long watching silly movies and having a good time - just like the good old days - tear. i was helping her get stuff ready for southwind's end of the year banquet that she was in charge of, which was saturday night. so here are a couple facts that we learned: 1. watching the chipmunk adventure as adults, after watching it like every day when we were kids, we still remember all the words to every song. you better believe it, cuz we're the girls of rock and roll! 2. dane cook was the waffler in mystery men. waffle man! gold and crispy - bad guys are histry! 3. it is possible (but probably not advisable) to stay up all night then leave at 530 am and drive from lexington to florence and back down to lagrange, provided you have the proper amounts of caffeine and avril lavigne. 4. listening to the cd version of stephen colbert's book is way funnier than reading it yourself. (note: james, you left it in my car so remind me to give it back to you on saturday) that's about all i got. but i also wanted to let everyone know that the christmas musical at my church is december 15 & 16 at 7pm. consider yourself invited. pax out!! |
