So I'm finally back from Panic at the Disco, and what an interesting weekend that was. It all started off with the bus ride there. I was supposed to get on a Greyhound bus at 3:40, which would arrive at the station in Vancouver with lots of time to spare. Instead, that bus was full, so it didn't even stop at the station, meaning everyone that was waiting for that bus had to get on the 3:35 bus, which arrived in Vancouver later, since it made more stops. I ended up sitting next to a guy that's my age, that goes to another school in the same city as me. By the end of the trip we started talking about music.
Then it was off to go Panic at the Disco. =] All the openers were awesome, although I only knew one song that each of them played. Phantom Planet's 'California,' The Hush Sound's 'We Intertwined,' and Motion City Soundtrack's 'Everything is Alright.' Before they started, we went to get some merch, and I ended up getting some really cool stuff. Anyways.. by the time Panic actually started playing, me and my cuz managed to get to the front, meaning I was pressed against the railing, which resulted in a nice bruise afterward. Oh well, it was worth it, being up so close to them. You have NO idea how bitchy some of those girls get when you try to take a breath, much less their spot. I managed to hold out till halfway through the 3rd to last song, I think.. before the contents of my stomach (or lack thereof) began to feel as if they needed to escape, so I signaled to one of the security guard guys, and he helped me out. I felt better after, but it was crazy/disgusting/sweaty/amazing/awesome/<3.
I suggest you go see a concert like this sometime in your life. Amazing experience. =]
Ta ta for now...
