| | Fingers CrossedThe real nice thing about love... is that there is no depth to the intensity of love.
Each relationship is known to have a cycle. We all know it. It starts with the initial excitement and infatuation of the discovery of another human being. This perfect individual that somehow slipped through our grasps. It is the period of insatiable hunger: the longing, the craving, the utter need to devour.
After what seems like endless cloud nine moments and fainting spells, we hold them up to our ideals. Sometimes, the person comes short and we realize that it is only a fling; a mere physical attraction. Other times, this person exceeds all expectations. Not to say that our significant other is perfect in all ways of life, they are sure to have faults and short comings. After all, they are human. Even with all this, their idiosyncrasy may just be perfection our eyes. Attraction combines with admiration and respect yield a perfect combination.
Next comes the emotionally naked zone. This phase calls for you to be comfortable with yourself. This phase calls for you share your insecurities. This phase calls for bonding moments and talks of life and future. This phase calls for courage and trust. This phase builds and deepens love.
What's next? I'm not sure yet... but I do know that the journey is half the fun.
So LOVE on kids... It's our only chance to have smiles that spread deep into our eyes and hearts.
