We decided to just put up a post that was short and sweet.  So here it is...

"Short and Sweet"

The links above are our updated "About Us" page, and a new post.

Wow... it's been a while!

How long has it been?  Wow... since Valentines Day!  I thought I should post something on here soon.  Let me 'splain... no, there is to much to 'splain.  Let me sum up...

Elisabeth and her family (less Mr. C, who could not get away from work) flew down on March 1st.  Oh what a HAPPY DAY!!!  And a blissful 11 days following!  We did so much in those few short days.  My Elisabeth wrote a more detailed explaination on her blog, which is linked on our site (<= Link).  Such painful and difficult partings when the dreaded 11th of March came.  But at least we wouldn't have to wait eight weeks before seeing eachother again like we did the last time...

Elisabeth and her dad will be flying down in TWO DAYS from today!!  Mr. C will unfortunately only be able to stay for two days, he couldn't get any more off from work.  Elisabeth, however, will be staying with us for a whole week!    Then, a week after she leaves, I will be flying up there to stay with them for a little over a week.  Woohoo!

Well, I know that ain't much, and I don't know how many folks still read my xanga since I've been gone for so long, but oh well.  Libby still does... *smiles all for her*

This blog has been officially hijacked.

My Valentine thought of doing the same thing yesterday morning that I was planning to do for him.  But, since he has somewhat of an advantage with the time difference....he beat me to it!
So....I thought I would extend Valentine's Day into today and post anyway.

Happy Valentine's Day Casey!

EDIT:  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this on Friday morning...
My dear Valentine sent me a package for Valentines Day, which arrived last Monday... with a little note on it to "PLEASE not open until February 14th!"  Aaah!  That package sat on my desk for the next three days and I nearly died from the suspense.    I opened it to find a very neat (and large!) Texas mug (the Texas flag, of course, had a vintage look  ), along with these:

Custom-printed M&Ms... with our distinctive quotes that no one truly understands but us... don't ask!     So yes, it was a very special Valentines Day, with the most special Valentine a guy could ever have!

"Let her works bring her praise in the city gate..."

As bonnie Kate so aptly pointed out, this is the very first truly romantic Valentine's Day for Elisabeth... and me!  If someone had told either of us a year ago that we'd be courting someone we met on the internet, we probably both would have just laughed.  But God had the last laugh...

I can't begin to describe how thankful I am for Elisabeth, how God ever thought me worthy enough of her, I will never know.  I thank Him every single day for leading me to her!

So here's to her...
