  • Look what Mickey did for our anniversary.

    So tomorrow its 15 years…I am so old.  

    Last night dh surprised me with this.

     

    Mickey actually made this little guy for me 15 years ago. But he was originally made just as the robot himself, and had no moving parts. Now his chest and back open, and inside there is a place for a candle. His eye use to have a light blub in it, which Mic says he is going to add again.

     

     

    He also added the crystal in his head. I don't think you can see it very well in my pic though.

     

    He also, added, "nickel 15" on the back. Fifteen being the number of years we have been together.

     

    Anyways, I was super excited and had to share.

     

    I am adding this pic of J's art too. This a card she made for us. Isn't it sweet, lol!!

    Wow-it’s been awhile. What should I blog.

    Hmmmm, things are going well. I have the rest of this week left babysitting before my trip to New Mexico..... I have a lot of stuff to do to get ready. I am trying not to think of being away from hubby for two weeks. It will be the first time in almost 15

    years. Well, I guess it would be 15 years this 19th  because it is our anniversary then. Fifteen years together, and twelve married, lol.  Anyways, I am not completely sure what I am going to be doing when I get back, but I know I will be going back to work soon after that. I wish I could be a 100% WAHM, but I this time I just can't. I feel different about going back to work now that my kids are older tough. I really feel at peace with it because dh and I made a commitment to have me home at least in tell they were going to school full time. This was something we truly and deeply believe was best for our family. It was a hard goal to meet, and yes, we have had to make tons of sacrifices, but I am proud of myself and dh. I am still going to continue on with design though, and hope to be able to return home at some point. Dh and would love to have another little one someday, but for now we have other pressing issues. So anyways, I guess that is what has been on my mind lately, not a terrible exciting blog, huh. LOL.

    I had this praying mantis sac that we found out in the yard. I wasn't sure if it would really hatch for us. But today out of my surprise it did.

    Practically every night…

    The toothpaste monster visits my bathroom sink. He's small and slimly and leaves footprints on anything that's tied down in the in there. He' calmly known as, "Mr. Not Me," or "Mr. It Wasn't Me!" His sole purpose, to drive me nuts!! LOL! Sheesh! It's been one of those days. I am so glad it's going to be Friday.
