Well the day has finally arrived and Santa left a room full of toys and a mountain of wrapping paper. What I love most is seeing the expressions on my Mackie's and Taylor's faces as they open their presents. Grandchildren are so awesome and mine, being not predjuce mind you, are absolutely gorgeous. I'm so blessed and lucky to have been around to watch their little personalities bloom and become the beautiful girls they are. I hope I have many more years to watch them grow.

Christmas was very nice and somewhat peaceful. We didn't do the traditional dinner this year. Instead we chose to have meat and cheese trays and salads and finger foods and lots of desserts. It was different for me because I always did all the cooking and made a spread fit for a king, but it was nice. Different is good sometimes.

Well, I'll close for now and write more later. Hope all your dreams and wishes came true for ya'll this Christmas.

Love,
Lucky

I'm glad you had a wonderful Christmas..it's fun to watch it through the eyes of a child

That finger foods and cheese/meat tray idea sounds wonderful..maybe I can convince my mom to do that next year rather than have her slave away in the kitchen all day!

I am so glad you had a wonderful Christmas!  Grandkids...maybe someday I will know what that feels like.  My son has been activated by the army to Washington DC, worries me a lot.  {{{Hugs}}}

It's always wonderful watching the gift unwrapped by your grandkids..... I'll have to try that finger food dinner..... makes all the celebrating easier, yet got food.

I can wait for the grand kid part but the relaxation part I want now.  I'm so drained it's not funny.  You are right, sometimes different is good.

Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! We usually have cold meats for Christmas because it's way too hot down here. We had lots of deserts this year too. That's the best part!

I'm glad things are going good for you. I usually don't cook because both Doug and I have to go to his moms' house and to mine. We spend the 24th with mine and the 25th with his and they do the cooking. I got out of it every year until this one. lol! I should've thought of food trays. It would've been so much easier. Can you tell I don't really like to cook? lol! I hope you have a great New Year and that only good things come your way in 2003.
