Ok...so it has been  A WHILE since I have posted anything. Obviously I am terrible at this. Or maybe it is just because I was so burnt out of writing papers for college that this never really appealed to me anymore.....this thing called typing. Whatever reason......here I am.

A quick update for those who thought I had fallen off the face of the earth and didn't really care to throw me a rope/note  :)..............I am back at home in South Carolina and about to take over managment at my job in North Carolina. I am also waitressing a few nights out of the week just to help out my bosses other business.

Working 7 days out of the week for now, well at least until I burn out .

I will do my best to keep up with this for a while....yeah we'll see how long this lasts........

To make up for all the time I have not been up to date with this Happy Belated Halloween, HAppy Be-lated Turkey day and Happy Almost Christmas......

I know some of you out there may think this is an oh so cheezy song, but I heard it a few days ago and it happened to hit home for me right now.

Although its always so much easier to say you're letting go then actually uncleanching your fingers out from around the one thing that is causing you the most pain....if there is a light at the end of this tunnel I sure as heck can't see it........

A New Addition to my family!! Say hello to Chloe!!! (I named her!) She is a Cockatoo Goffin. She will have a pink tint under her wing tips and other places I'm not sure of yet :)

She can not come home with us for another 4 weeks probably....lets just hope Sammy our love bird who is like 1/3 her size will like her!!!!

Soooo.......

           "What are you going to do today Meg?" --random person

           "I'm gonna go throw myself off the top of the mountain!"  --Meg

           "Wow! Sounds dangerous.....!" --random person

           "Yep, I know.....danger is my middle name!!!"  --Meg

Yup.....so I really am going to throw off myself off the top of a moutain today....with the aid of some pieces of wood (ski's) and some pocker-thingys. Feel free to pray for me!

This is my "first" time going true skiing as an "adult".....the last times were at the age of like 4 or 5 in between my moms legs going down the scary mountain....and the other time was in 5th grade and the only hill i "conquered" was the bunny slope.....

I can't figure out one thing though......why am I so nervous about this when I do not have a problem with throwing myself out of an airplane a billion miles up in the sky? Beats me! But here I go....with my two buds "Emily Bailey" no wait i mean Emily Meier  and Julie Bailey and some others from Bryan. They are going to "coach" me through this....yeah right! we shall see how long that one lasts!

Anyway....off to conquer one of my fears!!!
