Romantic Post Wedding Session....

For best viewing, press your F11 key and turn your speakers on!
(Slideshow runs 4:34)

Remember Dane and Stephanie's Wedding last November? Now that things have settled down somewhat for them they scheduled in this little romantic "post wedding" shoot to get back into their wedding clothes and have a nice relaxed session with us. Steph had this place in mind that she wanted to take us. I love it when our couples find these great places!! Dane and Steph, you guys were fun and kicked back , that is the best combo cause it fits right in with our personalities...

Enjoy!

Huge Props!

:goodjob:What a great idea to go back and put on your wedding attire and take the time to just create. These are the very best images I have ever seen you guys shoot, I mean down right fantastic!:coolman:

The location, lighting and props were perfect and your couple make the best models too.:heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:

Loved to sepia toned photos and all the B&W, they were moody and really cool. if 10 was the highest score, these all would score a 15!

Wow.  That's what comes to mind most.  Just "Wow".

I agree, some of the best photos I've seen of yours or of anyones of a couple period.  My favorite slide show by far.  Loved the timeless feel to it.  The props- especially the suitcases- were so neat.  Like they were sneaking off to a forgotten time and place to just enjoy their love.

@Borelfoto - Thanks Randy!!! There really is nothing better than time when you have such great lighting, and locations and people! We loved having the ability to move at a laid back pace. I wish wedding day could be that way....:fun:

@jondacrafts - Thank you!!! I wish we could do those everyday. Weddings are great but they do run on a tight schedule and you have to many times fight for time to get these kinds of shots for them. And to get them when the lighting is just right and finding just the right spots...we appreciate your comments so much!

I can't see them for some reason but I think it's my hotel room blocking it. I will be back to view this.... On another note Janet and I are coming out to Bakersfield this October to shoot a family and do some E sessions for some perspective clients. We will be on a bit of a vacation as well and would love to drive down and meet you guys. I have never meet any other xangan photogs before and would love to arrange it. It's a bit of a trip from PA so I don't get out there often so hopfully you can fill me in on some great locations for photos.

In His Grace,

Daniel

@alittledarkershadesofbrown -

Oh wow you guys are coming out!! Bakersfield is a long way from us. It is about 2/3 of the way to LA from Sacramento. Bakersfield is not exactly where most people would go for vacation because it isn't near any beaches or mountains its in a flat long valley, like Sacramento, but we are in the upper valley of California. We are 2 hours west of the mountains (Lake Tahoe)and 2 hrs east of any beaches and 2 hrs north of San Francisco...Bakersfield is the crossroads for us when we head south to either go to LA or head east to Vegas. I only drive through Bakersfield and could be selling it short! I would probably try and google them and see what comes up. It is probably one of those places that you might have to talk with someone who knows the great spots. Since I am so far away I would have no idea. I just know the truckstops/Rest Areas from traveling through and how can you really know a town that way.

We have a couple of weddings in OCT. but let me know what days in Oct you will be here. Are you hoping to make it out to SF?

It would be worth the trip to take Amtrak up there and do your esessions!!

Let me know the dates and maybe we can work something out.

@Borelfoto - Oh Randy that is so great to hear. Thank you! I am having fun putting them up around the studio. They look even better with the Pottery Barn frames around them. GORGEOUS! A big shout out to Dane and Stephanie for being so great to work with.

You're welcome for lunch... and thanks for the flowers and ahem...the donuts!
