| update, well sort ofLaw school is already rather difficult, but when you add unnecessary drama into your life it makes things worse. I'm not doing too well in school, but I'm passing and that's what really matters. I have a friend who jokes around telling me that if I don't do any better the only option available in the end is to open up a firm with him. I naturally when he jokes like that nod in agreement hoping that he might actually start something HAH. However things have been getting better recently because I actually have a few people I know better now and I sit with in class.
I've learned a few things in class regarding the way the "system" works, and the way it works is rather sad. Well, I guess it isn't all bad, but it is far from good.
On a more positive note, I am starting my summer volunteer work next Friday. Initially it was supposed to be a full time internship, however going to the school I am going to, I have to take summer school, so instead of an internship I get to volunteer instead...which by all means is not bad, but an internship would have been nice.
So what am I going to do? Well, I'm doing something regarding successions ( example: if there is no will, the state has a will in
which certain assumptions are made. The first assumption is that the spouse
should not inherit anything from the other spouse if there are children. The
next assumption is that for separate property, nieces and nephews should inherit
before a spouse. This usually comes as a big surprise to the surviving spouse.) In other words I'm going to be reading a lot of wills and what people left behind for others...it'll be rather interesting I guess.
