i went to the TGIF around times square, and that place has become extortionary. the price of everything is pretty much doubled. 18 bucks for a sandwich plate?? appetizers are no joke either. crispy green bean fries (best item on the menu) are a whopping 12 bucks. maybe they should move to a smaller place and stop ripping tourists off (they currently occupy 4 floors...like they get that much business)

Wall-E was AWESOME. i don't think i've ever sat through the whole credit for any movie until this one. i think the movie is rather deep, constantly trying to get a few pts across. they are:
- ppl (americans) are fat asses.
- gals are cold hearted bitches
- guys only have 1 thing on their minds
- robots will eventually try to take over

i hope they make a real wall-e soon. not the toy one that's available with a remote. but a smart one, like an aibo, that'll greet me when i come home or something.

I totally ignored my alarm yesterday and woke up when I was supposed to be out the door. Surprisingly, I wasn't late. More b/c the prof had the runs yesterday and came in late, but still. Awesome. I'm setting up 3 alarm clocks for tomorrow.

Came back from the Poconos all nice and dark. Picked up a new addiction: Blokus. I'm still craving the roast beef w/ gravy and cheddar sub that I've had annually since last year.

I tried to fix my craving my having the queso crunchwrap. Basically a regular crunchwrap with no sour cream and a lot more tomato. It also had some parsley in 1 bite that made me revolted. I'd rather have a regular crunchwrap instead.

On account of my friend leaving to the boondocks of Troy, a couple of my friends and I went with him to 6 flags. First the goods. Despite the giant ominous cloud looming over half the park, for the most part the weather was fine, and sometimes sunny. Because of this cloud, the lines were very short and waits were minimal. best part of the day is the kingda ka ride. observe image:

A usual ride is a launch to 120 mph, up one way, down the other. Our ride failed to clear the hump and we shot back down backwards. While it was amazing to us b/c we were thinking about the possibility of that during the wait, the guys in front of us had no idea it can happen, and were scared out of their minds. The chances of that happening is very remote, so I would like to credit this incident to the big guy sticking his finger down and stopping my ride and pushing it back down.

Now the bad part. The new ride sucked. Big time. Think skull mountain, w/o the littlest of excitement you can get from the skull mountain ride. Basically, it's an dark indoor ride that circles around, while flashing joker graffitis on the wall when you pass. I'm certain the first roller coaster ride that I ever rode on when I was 5 was more exciting than this ride. It was also the ride that had the longest line.

I ended the day by drinking a liter of german beer. i felt so european.

I really like the season finale of Big Bang Theory. The use of schrodinger's cat in a dating sense was ingenius. The end of the eps makes me feel hopeful. And the attempts at mandarin are really funny, reminding me of my less fluent friend ^_~

a cat got ran over on the street right in front of my driveway. it's not really so much bloody as its entrails form well...a trail, before and after the non-flattened body. needless to say, pulling in and out w/o disturbing the carcass was difficult. i took a pic, but it was too dark. hopefully when i wake up tomorrow it'll still be unflattened, in which case, pics to came. hahaha. but, no, seriously =|

i'm gonna be a groomsman this summer. pretty excited about that. as if going to a wedding wasn't enough to look forward to

*edit* i must apologize to all the ppl that i've been somewhat ignoring (more than usual) lately. i've been hitting the streets of gta 4 way too much. probably the reason why it took me a week to hook up my 360; i knew this was gonna happen. much like me obsessing over most new or trendy things.

and the season finale of the office was kind of a letdown. the past 2 season finales ended in such dramatics ways that i thought this one was gonna follow suit as well. and for most of the eps it really did seem like something big was gonna happen. ending wasn't as =-O as i anticipated. oh wells, back to the streets.
