YAY :) School starts on Thursday (maybe a little sarcasm, haha)! I finished my summer assignments just last week, and now I'm just getting things together for my classes. Everyone says junior year is the worst, so I'm afraid for this year to start, but I know my Father in heaven has bigger things in store for me :)
so this is my schedule:

0 period: professional dance. (i had no choice but to make up my gym and art credits in this class -__-)
1: Spanish III H
2: Precal/Trig H
3: Eng/Comp AP
4: Psychology
5: Biology AP
6: US History

Interesting schedule this year.. I won't be bragging about my AP classes in a few weeks :( eww. It'll be a big challenge to take on, but I won't drop out like I did euro last year, haha =X Hopefully this year I'll branch out more and be more involved. Currently I'm in the FCA board and a member of Key Club.. and no sports =/ Pretty sad how disabled I am in that particular area.

MY GOALS:
1. Finish the New Testament
2. Be content and confident with who God made me
3. Balancing my spiritual life with my worldly one
4. Study efficiently and sleep early, not at school.. 4.0+ :)
5. No boy/girl drama or gossiping or judging
6. Finish/master my piano pieces and play for church
7. Skip the junk food.. exercise more
8. Share Christ with someone

Father, I pray for strength and perseverance. I can't do it alone.

Lastly, for those who are starting school or moving on to pursue new ventures, I pray that you will seek God's hand in guidance and comfort in all your endeavors. Nothing is impossible with Him;
"You can do all things through Christ, for He gives you strength."

Philippians 4:13.
Best wishes and all my love to you!

In His love, Grace.

boys are really dumb, really.
when it comes down to it all,
they'll leave you standing there on the curb..

your heart numb as a rock.
don't believe what they say,
because as fast as they say it, they'll take it right back.
so save yourself some trouble and put some ear plugs in,
and go on smiling like they never walked into your entire life.

My spring break was amazing, having spent it with my family, Dan's, TK's, and Aivi's.. 19 people in all! (my favorite number by the way). We went on the Golden Princess, the nicest I've been on so far, to the Mexican Riviera. There's not much to do on the west coast; the Carribbean is undeniably a lot nicer. The first two days were at sea, in which TK and I laid in the sun, drank a lot of tea, went to the sauna, and took walks :) We made a pact that we couldn't take the elevator anywhere because we needed to burn off everything we ate :P Running 20 flights of stairs is not as easy as it sounds! Good thing I didn't gain much weight this time; I took to eating apples instead of too much chocolate. I figured I didn't want to look horrendous returning to  Georgia this summer, but I did very much enjoy myself :D The next three days we stopped at Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. They were all pretty nice, Cabo being the nicest. We shopped in Vallarta, went sailing to an island in Mazatlan, in which i laid out with my aunt, and then rode in a glass bottom boat in Cabo, where we saw seals.. AR AR! I actually didn't buy much at all. You'd think that Mexico would be cheap, chyeahhh right. They are not dumb people! I'm a pretty bad bargainer, so I didn't even bother. The one thing I bought was a black sequency dress, which turned out to look completely awkward on me. The last day was at sea once more, when I was sunburnt for the first time! I'm telling you, the sauna is the lazy way to losing weight, haha just kidding. They had a sushi bar, which was pretty gross, but the deserts were delicious. Dinner was one of the best things, because we had two amazing waiters :] We sang songs and wrote poems for them almost every night. Overall, I would say the best part was truly bonding with my family, especially TK. We talked a great deal, and I feel like we've become closer. There's always much more to a person if you take the time to see it :] I roomed with my sister, which was fun too! I would say that I love that little one more than anyone else; She's the one that hurts me the most, yet I love the most. I suppose the one you love most is the one that hurts you the worst, right? There's not a day that I don't thank the Lord for such a gnarly companion :] I love being around nature too; it never ceases to reveal even more of God's beauty. Now school has resumed and 44 school days left! Five days after school lets out I leave for GEORGIA :D I'm super excited to see my family, youth group, onuma, daniel kim, the old kids :] It'll be pure comfort. This saturday I have a date with Tran, so I'm looking forward to that and SPARC too. I got an A on my research paper: "An Emerging Epidemic", exploring the future world so dependent on fast food. It stressed me out a lot, but it paid off :)

i absolutely love the weekends! sleeping in feels nice, and going to church is really the only thing that motivates me throughout the week. so i'm happy :] school's quite stressful, and me being a huge procrastinator doesn't help at all.. so hopefully i can improve on that part, instead of doing this stuff so often. i'm really glad i got a 4.0 this past semester.. i actually got one B in chemistry, but it's weighed because it's an honors class :D lucky me. second semester's a lot harder, but i'm kicking it up a notch! if only i were naturally brilliant, then i'd be easier. i'm literally a book worm -___- sometimes i need to get out more. but that won't be a problem when i get a car, i suppose. i've been super lazy to finish up my online driver's ed classes, so when i get my permit is really up to me. 100 days from today will be the day i fly back to ATL :D i'm super excited to see everyone again.. plan Holly's wedding, six flags, see old friends. fun, fun stuff. as for the guys' role part in my life, they have none whatsoever. for now they're just un-appetizing side items i can do without, really! sure, they're cute. but hey, let's not let that get out of hand! just trying to keep my eye on the ultimate prize, and things will fall into place :]

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

"You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say..
Lord blessed be Your name."

- - - - - - -

And therefore begins a new chapter of my life:
praying that it is..
one that worships when life's in the pits.
one that is led by faith, not by sight.
one without fear, but is courageous and ambitious.
one that trusts and hopes.
one that is patient in all things.
one that never gives up, but perseveres.
one filled with smiles not hidden with doubt.
one that shines in darkness.
one that doesn't put itself down.
one that encourages others.
one that learns from its mistakes.
one that picks itself up and brushes it off.
one that loves everyone without judging.
one that puts others before herself..
one that gives without holding back.
one that is responsible.
one that sings because it doesn't want to cry.
one that's determined and hard-working.
one that doesn't worry about tomorrow.
one that only improves from yesterday..
one that strives only for the better.
one that leads a Christ-like example.

one in which the Lord comes before anything else.

.. one that leaves a legacy.
