Metro: Abilene
Birthday: 5/6/1985
Gender: Male

Interests: I enjoy taking walks on a October night. As we walk, with our hands intertwined, the last of the suns warmth kisses us goodbye. I like being a romantic, but I will admit that I don’t have anyone to spoil so I am out of practice. Even though from time to time I fail in trusting God fully, I try; needing I to give more. I feel that I am called to a life that is beyond anything that words can justify. I am placed here on this earth so that I can listen and show that I care. I enjoy computers, but I rather be spending time with friends or reading a book. I ask tough and stupid questions so that when I get asked it, I already know how others respond. I seek smiles instead of frowns, and if you ever need a hug don’t be afraid to ask.
Expertise: I like to think that my main expertise is making women feel good. But I think I might have a slightly bias opinion on that. I have been given an amazing gift of being able to work and understand all age groups. However I mainly focus on kids and teenagers because I just adore them the most. I feel that everyone needs to know two things, they are loved, I mean like someone is willing to die and give up everything for you, and just you. You can also do anything. There is nothing outside of your grasp as a human, more over as an American. I can work with computers and sell you almost anything but I will give up all of that just so that I can listen to you. Please feel free to talk to me anytime.

in a book, that i read.

"Blogs, when taken to an extreme, present a related problem. They allow us to participate in organic dialogue. However, they also have a remarkable addictive tendency to tickle our intellects, seducing us into a Pandora's box of perpetual links, people, and ideas. The results is what we are drawn wider but rarely deeper. This is true both in terms of the ideas we explore and the relationships we build. The great wonder of blogging is found in its dynamic speed. We are exposed to many more ideas then previously possible, and we are given a chance to dialogue about them in near real-time settings. However, the medium of blogging, regardless of content, has a natural bias toward confusion rather then clarity. It prefers careless language patterns, slack logic, and superficial relationships. This is at the expense of intellectual precision, thoughtful language, and meaningful connection with those in close proximity.
Churches have begun to use blogs, chat areas, and electronic bulletin boards in their efforts to build community. Yet there remains a danger of people finding connection through these electronic forms and believing they have found genuine intimacy. This can cause them to miss out on authentic community with people they worship with each week.
We must develop an awareness of our unconscious tendency to be seduced by our virtual communities so we can use them more intentionally rather then be used by them. Our subtle addiction to electronic community is not like an addiction to drugs where the only solution is to stop using entirely. It is more like an addiction to food or money, where we must learn to regain power over something we cannot do without. We need to develop healthy relationships with our technologies. This means nurturing a conscious awareness of their power, our longings, and the way both of these shape us. On occasion we may consider fasting from certain media as a spiritual discipline. This can be a very effective way to help us perceive media's power and re-calibrate our psyches."

I came across this as I was reading Yahoo news. I cant really dig deep into this, but I wanted to see what your response was.

I am not sure if I should be happy or sad. Give me your input as we dig deeper.

word

Why do cultures and sub-cultures make words, illustrations and teachings that confuse and scare each other away?

It just seems that it would be smarter if they would bridge the gap, and unite together. Forming a new understanding of culture.

You know, I really dislike the machine of ACU. I really want to throw a wrench and hope for complete deconstruction.

Words that matter to me
STUFF

You are loved! Yes YOU, even you are loved! Well of course you need to confess all of your sins, before I smite you. Just joking. You are loved! Not because of what you look like. Not because of what you can do. You are loved because of whom you know. Have you hugged a geek today! If you have not, get out there and hug one, we geeks rule the world. Yet we are scared of you people. So hug one, and they will love you for the rest of their life. You are loved! Why because my momma said so!
