A photo I took about twenty years ago. It was near an abandoned farmhouse that I loved to visit and explore, about ten miles outside of my hometown of Viroqua, Wisconsin.

Hello Tony, I was just passing by so I thought I’d ask a question. What do you think about Valentine’s Day? Is it necessary or is it just a retail holiday?

she asked "is that our new kitty?"

I think that she believed it was pandora...She grew more excited as told her she would now have 3 new ones (gracie, maximus, AND pandora).

That was too adorable!
The sound of Gracie's voice got Luna and Soleil talking also.

I have to tell the story that went on here as I was watching your cat film....I was lost in the video and the words that were coming across the screen...as I exited the page...I hear my kids calling...here kitty kitty.(we have two)...they just keep calling and I finally ask them what they are doing and they said...mom somethings wrong...I hear one of the cats meowing and we cant find them...I just had to laugh and show them the video...

You must have caught me at the right time. I'm honestly crying here. Your movie is so good- you've got my eyes to weep- my heart to smile- my mouth to laugh ( with impatience and love) Also, I heard your song. It sounds matured- aged- poignant- and your voice sounds better than ever. I've still got it running on a reel through my brain!

OK, that film was entirely too cool. You can really tell who controls who in that relationship. Cat says "pet me", Daddy pets.

I love the pictures...the one that really caught my eye was the one taken outside the farmhouse-even more than that, the city. My boyfriend was born in Viroqua and his mother is originally from there and I googled it because I have been told it was rather small (I've never been, eventually though) and discovered that the population is less than 5,000. Small world.

ryc: ah, you don't have to apologize. When someone is in love, I think the need to apologize for one's words or behaviors is unnecessary, boldness is something that I find is almost expected of people in love. The opinions of others no longer matter and they can't help but publicly declare their love. I think it's sweet.

Just out of curiosity, why is the guitar in the bathroom?

Almost every photo on my blog (except for example, that old one above), are taken on a cheap digital Canon... (the spy camera) SD20, 5 megapixels, using manual settings, no flash, often high ISO (to minimize blur), full resolution... OR on my wonderful, $20 Holga 120 medium format film camera.

I'll sacrifice quality, SLR, nice lenses, and the like, for a camera that is always with me. Better to get a marginal quality capture, of course than none at all. My passion is to humbly see and record the soul of the moment.
