Actually a quite interesting day today (technically yesterday, but i really don't think 20 minutes makes that much of a difference. I digress.) I woke up ended up going to Pauline's book store and found a book i was looking for that breaks down the catechism into more understandable 3 page chapters. From there, I brough my sister to the rag shop, where she went ape-poop over the 90% clearance prices on buttons (I have no idea why). After dropping her off, that's where the really interesting part starts.

Well I'm driving down Route 1 South to get to 287 North. All of a sudden rains starts pouring down harder than a waterfall. Seriously! At one point i felt like i was in a carwash, except there wasn't any signs telling me they're putting mega super duper clearcoat on my car. All you could see were cars getting into accidents and there was no way that i was going to get onto 287 in that mess. So i chose to push through. It kept raining harder and harder, & then all of a sudden it stopped, not quite shiny yet though, because the road that layed ahead of me looked more like a river. Very much like Oregon trail, I had to "ford" through (no caulking the wagon to float across option, sheesh). Well from there all my oxen died & I nearly died of dysentery. ::Snaps out of it:: But really, I was pumping my brakes to dry them off so much, kinda rediculous. On top of that there were so many accidents/ lights out all over route 1.

Then traffic just stopped moving, okay not exactly stopped, but not exactly moving either...so I called Jho to just warn her about the roads. She ended up keeping me company on the phone while I sat in traffic. From there, we got into a whole conversation about what you would name your kids if you had kids. and From there came Jhoanna's idea of naming my macbook. I was sitting in the car doing nothing, so I thought why not. For the most part I think we ran though all the girl names that started with an M ( for mac...duh!) I was leaning more towards May & then all of a sudden Jho says the name Mikayla/Makayla & I was like! YESSS! That's it. She even commemorated it for me too : Jhoanna Tamayo: makayla...mikayla friday august 17th, 2007 4:38pm.
Also one minute later I named my guitar May.... friday august 17th, 2007 4:39
Definitely the highlight of my day. =)
