| Old before my timeSeems I'm falling apart again. My knees are acting up. Primarily my right knee. My immediate supervisor suggest I should go get it looked at after showing him the nastiness known as my right knee. Maybe I should name it?
I've been getting odd headaches coupled with the occasional nose bleed. Not good signs. Hopefully they just coincide with my newly budding wisdom teeth... Yes, plural. I plan to get a dentist appointment next week.
The other morning I did drain a lump on my knee. Right after carving out an ingrown toenail on the same limb. May not have been the brightest thing to do, but worked for now.
Mornings like this one I just feel so decrepit.
Hopefully this next week proves to be better than the last. I don't see how it couldn't.

| mid-week updateThis weekend went well. Went to a small gathering Saturday night. Rachel got me a fancy to at BotCon.
Sunday I slept all day and went to work that night.
Monday I got home and went to bed. Had a small gathering of my own planned. Got up at about 5 to go shower. Procrastinated till about 6. Rachel shrieked something so I ran out with soapy hair to see what was up. she found George dead in his little plastic hut.
We canceled events and mourned the little guy. I didn't even eat yesterday. Went to bed instead of my usual after work meal. Figured I'd feast later on.
Seems silly in retrospect. Not sure why though. The little critter had more personality and common sense than most people I know. At least he was buried with his half eaten bible.
Now it's time to clean out the cage and get Elliot back into the bigger environment.

| WOO!Purchased digital copies of castlevania: symphony of the night and mortal kombat 2 on my ps3. Some classics.
Also broke down and got the classic rock track set for GH3(guitar hero 3).
Got to love small splurges. Now off to rewatch the episode of Fullmetal Alchemist from disk 8. Rachel got it for me yesterday. I'm slowly completing the series. I've already seen the entire run of it. A few times. In japanese (fun subbed) and english dubbed.
I am nerd, hear me roar!

| Not much to reportFinally set up a wireless router for the game systems.
Been sleeping less but dreaming (remembering my dreams at least) more.
Work isn't so stressful the past few days since I adopted the "Who gives a fuck" state of mind about it. Two of my immediate superiors seem to enjoy it. The top guy there, probably not so much. It still wears on the body but is easier to cope with since resources aren't dedicated to stress management.
Sunday I'm trying to have a movie night of sorts. Trying to air the Ducktales movie and Cloverfield. Maybe another if we have time. May try to force Donnie Darko on people since it became one of my better liked flicks.
A handful of you have been making appearances in my dreams. Not sure if it's a sign of anything or what.
Cleared my first Guitar Hero 3 song on hard difficulty! Victory indeed.
Hopefully there won't be a bumblebee in the window, by my pillow, when I go to bed today. I let the poor sap go free to die with it's dwindling kin.
I think that's all for now. Can't think of much more. Am very tired. Goodnight. Time for me to be fulfill part of being nocturnal....

| UgggThe past couple of weeks have been interesting. I seem to have started to pass a kidney stone that's been developing for who knows how long. I told a friend i woke up with bad lower back pain before work but it eventually lessened. Then a day and a half later it strikes again but doesn't stop. Felt like someone put a dagger in my kidney and started twisting... It was then I connected the two incidents of pain. Went to the ER, got a shot of morphine, had some scans done and finally got sent home with a prescription for percocets and told "good luck".
Yesterday it finally passed. Was painful but not as bad as the sensation of it leaving the kidney. Rachel named it Augustin.
Monday night was nice. Went to a birthday gathering that was small and pleasant. Reminded me of the stuff I missed about back home. The trip had to be cut early because Rachel had to get home to do homework and get to bed early. Only to decide she would miss class tuesday to focus on homework. Arg.
I look forward to more events like that. Hopefully no drama escalated after i left.
Other than that I've read two point five(2.5) books and watched a handful of movies.
I recommend "The Darjeeling Limited" and "the King of California" to anyone and everyone.
"30 Days of Night" is a good throwback to mysterious "what's going on and why" types of vampire movies. I liked it a lot but it's not for everyone. Lots of blood and it's based on a comic miniseries.
The pass time that's been eating up a lot of my free time lately is World of Warcraft. To paraphrase the Penny Arcade guys, it's a well decorated loot drop system. Can do a lot of neat things in it and there's the nostalgia effect from playing previous Warcraft titles, but overall it's just an updated version of Diablo 2 set in a different world. I may play it for a few months and grow bored, or it may be something I stick with for a while. We'll see.
My D&D group plays it. For the most part. It's a good bonding experience with them as well.
There's my update for a while. As my innards heal And the sky makes my walks to work that much more difficult...
Later.
