A year later....

So yeah, i haven't bothered to write on this blog thingy for a while, I guess I just really haven't had the time to apply myself to one more internet obsession. Junior year is running on by, and I'm almost out for the summer. In fact, I  only have 67 days left til I head out for Cedar Point yet again, my third summer, w00t!

More importantly perhaps, is the fact that my 21st is coming up in 6 days, and that's pretty darn exciting, but it also marks the beginning of me becoming old.

I may be leaving the country for a while, studying in Northern Ireland for a semester (over there in Belfast), but I've never left the country, so it ought to be a grand adventure, if I do say so myself. I'll know for sure in the next few weeks here, as I'm awaiting acceptance notification.

I'm also currently in a n "open relationship" which basically means I have someone truly dear waiting to see me this May, a sweet boy of mine, but until that time that we reunite, we are both free to enjoy ourselves at school sans jealousy (though I don' t know if either of us will really take advantage of said ability, because why bother?)

Classes are going well, as long as I can make some immediate headway on my capstone paper/promptbook that I have to turn in to complete that class enrollment...too bad I didn't know the weeks of my stage movement class in time to drop it, because it conflicts with a bunch of upcoming events in March, such as the pub crawl and dance theatre and assorted other problems, oh well.

I don't really have the slightest what else i want to talk about right now, but maybe in another 6 months i'll decide to write here again haha.

UTOPIA Y MAS

So we traversed to Utopia for my birthday last week, and boy, that was fun! The show was great and it was a fundraiser for Paradise. Jess really is my best friend in existence here on campus, it sucks that she commutes because we don't get to hang out as much anymore, and I miss that.

It's been a beautiful week...welcome Spring! Laying outside painting and reading and such, trying to put a little color on these bones before the dreaded CP tan lines...blech.

A little socially avoidant this week, I just don't really care to talk to people or go out this week, it just doesn't tickle my fancy. I guess i'm just not really up to listening to the usual drama and deal with people's shit. Aren't we all supposed to be above that? We are in college, that's supposed to make us smart.

That's another thing I've noticed. There are some really dumb people at this school. Why the hell did some of these kids get accepted? And why would they ever want to be teachers? I mean who has issues passing Praxis writing three times in a row? And if you don't know any literary references and your reading list is nill, how much help are you going to be to your students someday? Sometimes I fear for the world my generation is inheriting.

hmmmm so much to say...

My weekend with Talen was wonderful, for those two days it was like I had my boyfriend back, and oh do I miss him. He's so sweet, and I can't believe he drove 15 hours up here just to see me. I want to visit him in Arkansas, I just don't know how to make that happen yet.

The show went off amazingly, plenty of congratulations to the entire cast, I think we were marvelous and the audience really was goin....especially as each little soldier boy died hahahahahaha.

Won a date at the date auction, that's news haha...now I suppose he'll have to suffer through dinner with me...won't lie, he's a catch...always liked those jailed bad-boys.
