| Hi all,
I have moved my blogging life to
http://homeschoolblogger.com/MaggieHogan
where I can hang out with mommies my own age. (well, ok, most of them are younger but hey! They are probably older than YOU!)
I still subscribe to YOUR sites though

| Saturday night and the guys went to see the Incredibles. If it is half as good as Tyler says I will just buy it when it comes out. I really dislike going to the mall for movies. JB called - had an awesome weekend at Carolyn's. Got a deer! Whoooo! Go JB!
Haven't been well the last two days. Thanks Regina for taking the time to work on me today. All I've done is sleep. Well, ok, and eat. hehehehe. And hug Tyler! He goes back to school tomorrow So sad. I wish I hadn't given him my Phantom of the Opera CD - he's played it non-stop and I can't get it out of my head. Oh well, at least it isn't Veggie Tale songs.
God is soooo good. Which reminds me, Precepts on Tuesday. Hear that Nicole? Have you done your homework? I have started, thanks to Beth. I need a study buddy on Monday! | | |
| Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be grateful here in the Hogan home and in the USA. Right now I am thanking God for His Son, my husband, my "boys," the rest of my family and friends!
I wonder if every country or tribe has some version of Thanksgiving. It seems to me that just as we have a God-sized hole in our soul (whether we choose to accept Him or not) that we also have a built in desire to thank Him for what He has done for us. . .
I am waiting for the casseroles to finish cooking so I can stick Mega-Tom back in the oven - this is one of the few times a year I wish I had a second stove. Bob and Tyler did all the arranging of furniture for our 23 or 24 guests. JB called earlier, he is on his way to my sister's for Thanksgiving and he sounded great. Sure wish he could be here with us - but we are very hopeful he'll be home for Christmas.
Two of my nieces, Sarah (many of you know her from when she lived with us) and Savannah are at my mom's today for dinner. I do so love and miss my extended family!!! I wonder what Dave and Joyce are doing in Venezuela??
We'll be here all weekend if any of you want to call or stop by - Tyler would love to catch up!
God bless,
Maggie
