So, I go in tomorrow for my first fitting on my gown. It was a $250 prom dress that I got a few years ago, but never bothered to wear. I got it from the thrift store for $23 and it was just too good of a deal to pass up. It's black satin with a red petticoat, very simple, and rather short when I have heels on. Sooo....I got a couple of yards of black Dupioni (sp?) silk and a couple of yards of black embroidered silk organza. I'm having a train put on it, and about a foot of length added all the way around the skirt. I'm so excited!!!!

However, if you're reading this, I need your help. Since the dress is completely black, i can do whatever I want to my make up. I want to do something really over the top and decorative, since it's masquerade. If you have any suggestions, PLEASE!!! let me know.
