| I just typed this really good entry and then it all disappeared. That sucks. Things never sound as good the second time around so I'm not even gonna try to retype anything. Anyways, life in California has been good. California is way too HOT. Seriously, it's been in the 100's everyday for the last few weeks. I've gotten dark from fishing and BBQ's at the Lake. Besides that, i haven't been up to much but working like usual. The fair starts tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that. I'm sure it'll be HOT and packed with people but o-well. Also looking forward to camping with family & friends next week. Besides that, my sibs are coming to visit next month so i'm excited about that. I don't have any vacation time so i'm not sure what they'll be doing when they visit but it'll be good to hang out with them for a few weeks. I still can't believe that it's July already. I've officially completed my job requirement for my scholarship so i can work anywhere I want now. I haven't decided if I'm gonna stay in Cali or move back home. I've been looking at jobs in MN but haven't put much effort in applying for jobs there so we'll see what happens. I've decided to complete at least a year at my current job so after October, I'll figure out what I want to do. I like California but there's no place like home. I miss having family & friends around. We'll see what happens though.... | |

| So I finally picked up a hobby--> fishing. I got my fishing license a few months ago and have gone fishing at least 2-3 times each week since then. Amazingly, I have caught at least 1 fish almost every time I went fishing so I'm pretty proud of myself, especially since the limit is 2 fishes only. In addition, each time I catch a fish, it get bigger and bigger. I think the biggest fish I caught so far is 23-24 inches. I've also learned to cook fish different ways and LOVE LOVE LOVE eating fish!! :) My other new thing is crabbing. I went crabbing last saturday and had a good time. It's pretty easy. You put bait in your net, throw it in the water, wait for a while, and then pull up your net to see if you caught any crabs in your net. You pretty much repeat this process all night until you want to stop. I'm going crabbing again this weekend so I can bring some for mom. :) |
