| Journal.
A few years ago, I believe it was 2, I met a youth who was going through a pretty difficult time. In many ways she had reminded me of myself a few years back, struggling through life, dealing with school, parents and guys. There was something that had drawn me to wanting to talk to her and be there for her during this trying time. After a few months we were not able to meet up as often, mostly because of myself, but last week we were able to get together for lunch. While we chit-chatted she reminded me of the journal I had made for her when we had first met. She told me that she had finally finished writing in it! I was so excited! She wasn't the first person I had made a journal for, but she was the first person to tell me she finished using it! Also, when I had given her the journal I had written a letter of encouragement on the front page. She told me that I had written something along the lines of (don't quote me) "at the end of this journal I hope all your answers will have been answered by God". She said that they had been answered (maybe not all, but even if 1 of them was - yippie!!) I was extremely happy at this and when she told me she was looking for another journal I wipped out my scrapping material and made another one for her! My last journal, from what I remember, was about being an independent girl. There was a picture of a girl and the ocean I think... haha, bad memory! As I prayed for what to write on this new journal I got the word "FAITH". That she would continue to have FAITH in Him no matter what circumstances came her way and what storms were crashing around her. [I wish I did have pictures of the journals...] After talking to her that day I can see how she's matured in her faith a lot through all the tears and struggles. Keep it up!!

| TOOOO LONG!
It's been about a a month or so since I've posted here )= So sad that I wasn't able to keep up to date with this, but seeing as this is a new year, I do want to keep this page up and running. There have been many things I've wanted to post, but with my getting a new laptop (= *yeah!* and the wireless not working, getting onto the computer has been a little difficult. Nevertheless, wireless is now up and running so there are no more excuses! I will not be posting daily (like before) but as much as I possibly can! Have a wonderful 2006 year everyone!
| Day 36 :: Holding Doors #2
Tonight my mom, dad and I went to Fairview mall after dinner! The weather was pretty awful )= but we all made it there and back safely! While we were running into the mall from the parking lot an elderly couple were walking out of the mall pushing a stroller. You got it, I stood out in the cold holding the door open so that they wouldn't have too! Ok, time to sleep! It's the first time in about a week that I'm sleeping on time!!!!!! (= Happy x100!

| Day 35 :: Tip
It's so cold outside!!! (I know... just call me Captain Obvious!) I've been officially up to my eyeballs in homework - Hebrew Qal Imperfect strong verbs & vocab, essays x3, piles of lecture readings, not to mention trying to juggle all other aspects of life that are non-school related. Anyhow - 'makingdays', tonight was an unplanned and spur-of-the-moment evening! A friend and I went out for dinner at Jack Astors. Yum x10! I loved the food (fajitas & nachos - healthy who?), but the company was even better! As we were leaving we decided that we wanted to bless the waiter - a guy by the name of 'Roch' who did an amazing job waiting on us, so we left him a $15 tip (= Hope it made his day!
| Day 34 :: Accident Police
Today
was a long day! And it's going to be an even longer night
)= I have a history essay due tomorrow that I'm trying to avoid.
Nevertheless, tonight I was at the gym doing the BodyStep class (twice
in one week!) when I saw the step-board of the lady in front of me
starting to fall off the legs. I didn't know whether or not
to say anything, but once again the thought of an elderly lady flying
backwards off her step because I was too afriad to say something forced
me to. In a matter of 3 seconds her step was back in place,
sturdy as ever, as we continued until the end of the class, accident
free! This is my second Good-life accident avoidance act!
hehe. Just call me the Accident Police (= Hmmm... I wonder
if the girl behind me would have said something if she saw my step
falling?
