| Long Time Gone....WoW! It amazes me how fast these last few months have gone. I can't believe the last time I posted on here was November! I have definitely neglected my xanga family that is for certain ! Life has been busy, i'm sure that goes with out saying for most of you out there. I don't really know where to start as far as what i've been doing. i guess I could recap the last few months best as possible..... November, I spent thanksgiving in Tennessee with the fam , then back to STL where I started back at the LB the day after thanksgiving. I was a little rusty for sure, but they threw me out there and it was sink or swim.....heehee... being the buoyant girl i am I safely floated throughout the day . First part of December I got a phone call that unexpectedly took me to the SD for a sort and not so happy visit. It was a call that makes my heart hurt when I think of it still and if I go the rest of my life never having to hear someone I love's heart breaking the way I heard in that phone call I will be ok. Life is something I take for granted, and never have I been more aware of this in myself than I was when I flew back west. It was a humbling experience-- to put it lightly --and very much a wake up call that reoriented me to a lot of different things I needed to focus on. Christmas meant a little more this year as I got to spend it with my whole family and the overwhelming gratitude I felt in having them all healthy and safe and together. Amazing how the biggest blessing I still manage to take for granted. This New Year's was the first one I really got to go all out for. Miss Milano and Mr. Williams came to town and along with Cedric and I we, rang in 2007 with a whole lot of confetti, dancing and poppers. By far the best New Year's celebration I have taken part in.... close second would be the one where we made Austin's bronco into a fruttipebble-syrup-confetti float....heehee ....January brought school and lots of stuff to balance. Work and school at the same time stinks but when it comes down to it, i'm grateful to have a job and school to balance. I got to see Dave and Katrina's new love and I cannot say anything except that she is absolutely beautiful!! I mean really, i'm not one of those people who thinks all babies are pretty, but really she really is an amazingly adorable baby-- welldone mom and dad B!! I guess that pretty much puts me where I'm sitting tonight, 2 weeks and three days into this semester, only 2 days and 12 weeks to go. It's freezing here in the STL and I absolutely cannot wait for the spring weather to get here! I'm looking forward to the sun and the summer and all that is to come . Also looking forward to V-day and the B-day that are fast approaching, those two holidays should be a lot different this year now that my wisdom teeth are out and I have this boy I adore to share them with in addition to my fun and wonderful family. I'll be happy with what ever we do as long as we all get to do it together, it's hard to spend quality time with people when quality time is hard to come by. I hope everyone is doing well out there! I sure do miss you guys! Amanda

| 7 is a lucky number He who is in love is wise and is becoming wiser, sees newly every time he looks at the object beloved, drawing from it with his eyes and his mind those virtues which it possesses. Ralph Waldo Emerson, Address on The Method of Nature, 1841 Cedric Williams , thank you for coming into my life 7 months ago today and bringing me so much happiness and laughter. You are the perfect balance for me. You are calm in pretty much any suituation ( sporting events excluded). You have a relentless ability to see the positive in every one of my mini crisis. You remind me that life is really not as stress ful as I try and make it . You take my drama in stride and are always patient and understanding. You aren't afraid to argue with me... even though i usually win.... .You make me laugh, you make me smile and you always make sure I know how much I mean to you. I love you Ceddie, over and and over again each and every day! "Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; loves is a growing up." - James Baldwin | | |
| Introducing Feff HessWell boys and girls it's official , Feff is a married woman. Her wedding was this weekend and it was fabulous, she was a BEautiful bride and she did such a good job at holding it together the whole darn time. I was very impressed with her relaxation through the whole darn thing. Below are some pictures I promised her I'd post a few. She and Denver will be on their honeymoon this whole week in Gatlinburg. (Candice, I put your pictures for Kari on here too, feel free to copy them off my page and save them to yours so you have a set too.) So I hope everybody is doing well, and the holidays are good for everyone. I have a mess of work to get done before we are off Thursday and Friday, so I'm off for now, but take care and I look forward to talking to you guys soon!
